Grundfos SE1 Submersible Sewage Pumps
The Grundfos SE1 pump range offers high specification products designed for heavy-duty pumping applications, emphasizing reliability and ease of servicing. These pumps are suitable for pumping sewage and heavily polluted water in municipal, utility, and industrial settings.
Pump Features
The SE1 pumps utilize advanced technology with high-efficiency semi-axial channel impellers, providing excellent non-clogging performance and solid passing capability. Key features include:
- Hermetically sealed cable entry to prevent liquid penetration.
- Cartridge-type double mechanical seal for enhanced durability and maintenance ease.
- Simple clamp coupling for straightforward motor and pump unit disassembly.
The SE1 range features a modular design with standard motor units compatible with various pump models. The hydraulic end can be adapted for submersible auto-coupling, submerged free-standing, or dry configurations by selecting appropriate mounting components. While three basic models are stocked, a wider range is available for special order.
The pump end, including the impeller and pump housing, is made from cast iron. The stator housing is constructed from cast aluminium, and the motor jacket, clamp, and cable entry are made from stainless steel. A 10m Neoprene rubber drop cable is supplied as standard.
Motor Features
Pumps are equipped with integral squirrel cage induction motors featuring a special liquid-less cooling design, enabling continuous operation even in dry installations. Remote motor starting requires a specific starter type as indicated.
