Charging
The AC2P supports four charging methods: AC, solar, car, and generator.
ℹ️ Attention: Double-check that all cables are firmly plugged in. Avoid getting plugs and sockets wet.
7.1 AC Charging
Plug the AC2P into a standard wall outlet. It automatically stops charging when fully charged. For faster charging, enable Turbo Charging in the BLUETTI App for 80% capacity in approximately 45 minutes at 25°C (77°F).
[Image of AC charging cable connection to AC2P]
7.2 Solar Charging
Connect solar panels (in series or parallel) via the solar charging cable. The AC2P stops charging after 1.5 hours with a continuous 200W input. Charging time varies with weather, sunlight intensity, and panel orientation.
Note: Solar panel requirements: Voc 12V-28V, Current 8.2A Max., Power 200W Max.
[Image of solar panels connected to AC2P]
7.3 Car Charging
Connect the AC2P to the vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter port using the car charging cable. The AC2P charges at a maximum of 96W and stops when fully charged.
Note: Ensure your vehicle can supply power and the engine is running during charging.
ℹ️ Attention: The AC2P has a low-voltage disconnect function to protect your vehicle's battery. It stops charging if input voltage drops below 10.5V.
[Image of car charging connection to AC2P]
7.4 Generator Charging
Connect the AC2P to a generator via the AC charging cable. Charging stops automatically when full, typically within 1.4 hours if the generator output is stable.
Note: Ensure your generator's AC output voltage, frequency, and Grid Self-adaption Mode voltage meet AC2P specifications. If connected devices exceed generator capacity, enable Grid Self-adaption Mode for seamless charging.

Appendix 1: Estimating Operation Time
To estimate operation time, consider the load:
Operation time = Battery Capacity (Wh) × DoD × η ÷ (Load Power + AC2P Self-consumption)
Note: DoD (Depth of Discharge) is 90% for longer battery life. η (conversion efficiency) is typically over 85%. AC2P self-consumption is approximately 12W.
Example: For a 40W refrigerator:
Operation time ≈ 230.4Wh × 90% × 85% ÷ (40W + 12W) ≈ 3.4 hours.
Estimated operation time is for reference and may vary based on actual usage conditions, temperature, and load.
Appendix 2: FAQ
- Q1: How do I know whether my devices will work well with this product?
A: Evaluate the total constant load of your devices. If it doesn't exceed the AC2P's Max. output power (300W), you can use it. Note: Devices with motors/compressors may have start-up surges (2-4 times rated power) that can overload the AC2P. - Q2: Can I use third-party solar panels to charge this product?
A: Yes, provided your solar panels have an open circuit voltage of 12V-28V and MC4 connectors. Do not mix different types of solar panels. - Q3: Can it charge and discharge at the same time?
A: Yes, it supports pass-through charging. The AC2P uses a premium LiFePO4 battery and proprietary Battery Management System for simultaneous charging and discharging. - Q4: Why is the charging power often too low?
A: The AC2P has an intelligent BMS that adjusts charging power based on battery temperature and SoC to protect the battery and extend its service life.
