Tuning Tips - Painting, Beginners

Painting:

Your Kit requires a clear polycarbonate body. Prep the body by washing the INSIDE thoroughly with warm water and liquid detergent (avoiding scents or added lotion ingredients). Dry with a clean, soft, lint-free cloth. Use supplied window masks for windows. Apply masking tape to the inside for design. Spray paint (rattle can or airbrush) on the inside, starting with dark colors. Use only paint recommended for polycarbonate plastics. After paint dries (approx. 24 hours), cut along trim lines. Drill or use a body reamer for antenna holes if needed. Use hook and loop tape to secure the body to side rails.

Tips for Beginners:

Before making setup changes, ensure you can drive the track without crashing. Focus on consistent laps. Make only ONE adjustment at a time and test it. If an adjustment improves lap times, record it. If it slows lap times, revert to the previous setup. Periodically check all moving suspension parts; they must be clean and move freely without binding for optimal handling.

Tuning Tips - Front Arm Mount Pill Insert Setups
