Consistent with Rotel's amplifier design philosophy, the RA-1572MKII utilizes an in-house manufactured oversized toroidal transformer. The unique shape of this transformer is engineered to prevent stray radiation patterns from interfering with audio signals as they pass through adjacent circuits. The transformer powers a bank of four low ESR, high-efficiency, T-Network slit-foil storage capacitors, ensuring deep and controlled bass energy.
The RA-1572MKII supports digital sources through a Texas Instruments 32-bit/384kHz DAC, complemented by critically tuned output filter circuits that render even the most subtle sonic details. The preamplifier circuits and linear amplifier gain stages have been custom-engineered to provide natural detail, agility, and an immersive soundstage. Connectivity options include analog, digital, PC-USB supporting MQA, aptX™ and AAC wireless Bluetooth streaming, XLR Balanced inputs, and a Moving Magnet Phono stage, ensuring compatibility with all your favorite sources.

The front panel features a power button with an indicator light, a headphone jack (3.5mm), speaker selection buttons (A/B), and various input source selection buttons including PHONO, CD, XLR, TUNER, AUX, USB, COAX 1, COAX 2, OPT 1, OPT 2, PC-USB, and BT. It also includes a status display showing source and volume information, as well as bass and treble adjustments, and menu navigation buttons.
Rear Panel Connections
The rear panel provides comprehensive connectivity options: GND, PHONO, CD, AUX, MONO SUB OUT, PRE OUT (L/R), BALANCED IN (L/R), DIGITAL IN (COAX 1, COAX 2, OPT 1, OPT 2), PC-USB, NETWORK, BLUETOOTH, and RS232.
