Installation
Follow these steps carefully for safe and secure installation:
- Mounting the Wall Bracket:
- Select a sturdy, vertical wall. For installation, choose a wall thicker than half an inch or a section supported by a pillar or crosspiece. Wooden walls do not require wall plugs.
- Ensure there is at least 20 inches of clearance from the ceiling and 14 inches from the wall side.
- Securely install the wall bracket to the wall using the provided wood screws.
- Attaching the Fan Stand:
- Attach the fan stand to the wall bracket. Moving the fan stand slightly sideways during attachment can make installation easier and ensure it is fully hooked onto the wall bracket.
- Verify that the fan stand is securely installed.
- Installing the Safety Screw:
- Use the provided template paper to mark the location for the safety screw hole.
- Drill a hole (approximately 6 mm diameter) for the safety screw.
- Install the safety screw, tightening it until it stops. This screw is essential for safety.
- Ensure all screws and connections are tightly secured. The wall bracket and safety screw are designed to withstand a load of 392N/40kg when properly fixed.
- Assembling the Guards:
- Attach the rear guard to the motor housing, aligning its projections with the guide holes.
- Align the front guard with the rear guard, matching the guard ring's hook with the alignment mark on the rear guard.
- Press the front and rear guards together until they snap into place. Secure them by locking the clips upwards.
- Attaching the Blade:
- Ensure the blade's projection aligns with the motor's shaft pin.
- Secure the spinner to the motor shaft by turning it counter-clockwise. Tighten it completely to prevent abnormal noise when the blade stops. If it's not tightened fully, an abnormal sound may occur.
Operation
- Speed Control: To turn the fan on, pull the 'Speed' control cord. To turn it off, pull the cord until the indicator points to '0'.
- Oscillation: To activate automatic oscillation, pull the 'Oscil' cord. To stop oscillation, pull the 'Oscil' cord again.
- Tilt Adjustment: The air direction can be adjusted upward or downward by gently pushing the front guard up or down. Adjust the fan's angle only after the blades have stopped rotating. If the fan does not hold its desired angle, use a screwdriver to tighten the 'bolt' located near the tilt mechanism.
- Changing Airflow Direction: To change the direction of airflow, push the edge of the guard to the desired position.
