DocumentDocumentDelayed Action Instructions 9151/6 ADC Issue: 01-04/22 QUALITY SINCE 1948 · Delayed action allows the door to remain open for an adjustable period of time, before closing. · The delayed function operates from fully open down to 75° in figure 1. · The delay speed can be adjusted - for example: the closer is adjusted to give 20 seconds of delay between 90 and 75°, however, if the door is opened to 100° the delay would be in the region of 30 seconds and if the door were only opened to 80°, the delay would be in the region of 10 seconds. · Longer or shorter delay times can be achieved by adjustment shown below · In figure 6 delay operates from fully open down to 85°. · If the angle of opening is restricted to 90° or less, no delay may be evident. · To overcome this, move the closer and the bracket 100mm further from the hinge side. This will also restrict the angle of opening.
