Helpful Hints

  1. Spin Speed: The 1400 rpm spin speed extracts more water, reducing drying time.
  2. Fabric Softener: Using liquid fabric softener helps clothes tumble freely in the dry cycle, promoting faster drying and fewer wrinkles.
  3. Overloading: Load the drum to 2/3 capacity for optimal airflow and drying time.
  4. Drying:
    • Condensing: Moisture remains in the machine. Damp clothes may dry within minutes after removal.
    • Venting: Uses hot air to dry clothes.
  5. HE Detergent: Use High Efficiency (HE) detergent to prevent suds from clogging the condensing chamber and fan blower, improving drying efficiency.
  6. Sorting: Consider fabric type and absorbency. Highly absorbent fabrics can increase drying time.

Pre-Installation

  1. Install on a strong, leveled surface in a protected, dry, well-ventilated area with adequate power and water supply.

DANGER: Keep children away from shipping carton and packing components to prevent suffocation risk.

Disposing of Old Appliance:

Recycle raw materials. Remove the door to prevent children from locking themselves inside. Dispose of according to local environmental regulations.

Factory-Supplied Equipment:

Check for all accessory parts supplied with your appliance. Contact customer service if any parts are missing.

Installation Area:

DANGER: Appliance stability is crucial; otherwise, it may "wander" during spin cycles. The area must be solid and even. Soft floor surfaces like carpets or those with foam backing are not suitable.

DANGER: Do not install outdoors or in areas exposed to freezing conditions, as frozen hoses can tear/burst.

If the appliance is in a room exposed to sub-freezing temperatures or shut down for winter, drain residual water from the pump or water inlet hoses.

Removing the Shipping Rods:

CAUTION: Shipping rods must be removed before first use and retained for future transport. Failure to remove them can cause severe vibration and damage.

Unpacking, Leveling & Positioning

Remove packing and check the Washer for damage. Contact Customer Service if any doubt. Keep packing parts away from children.

Important: The drum is affixed with shipping rods during transport. The power cord is accessed by removing these rods. Close the holes with provided caps and reinstall screws.

The machine must be perfectly level, using the adjustable feet provided.

NOTE: Save shipping bolts for future use. Do NOT transport without reinstalling them to prevent damage. Failure to remove them can cause severe vibration and noise. A clamp secures the cord to the back of the combo with a shipping bolt.

Electrical

Connection:

Connect the plug to a 110V/60Hz power outlet with a minimum 15 Amps rating. Ensure voltage and frequency match the machine's serial number plate. Do not use adaptors or extension cords.

Power Supply:

Connect the Washer Dryer to an individual circuit protected by fuses or a circuit breaker, conforming to local codes.

Grounding:

This appliance must be grounded. It is equipped with a power cord with an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. Plug into an appropriately installed and grounded outlet according to local codes and ordinances.

Warnings:

  • Improper grounding can result in electric shock. Consult a qualified professional if unsure.
  • Do not modify the plug. If it doesn't fit the outlet, have a qualified electrician install a proper outlet.

Note: If the electrical power supply does not meet specifications, call a licensed electrician.

Plumbing

Connecting to the Water Faucet:

Connect the straight end of each hose to the cold or hot faucet. Tighten fittings by hand, then with pliers for an additional two-thirds of a turn. Do not overtighten. Pull hoses up and down to check connection.

Connecting to the Machine:

Connect the L-shaped end of each hose to the cold or hot water valve on the rear of the machine. Open faucets and check for leaks.

Connecting the Drain Hose:

  • Is the faucet filter clean?
  • Is the inlet hose kinked?

Continuously fills and drains water:

  • Is the drain hose positioned too low?
  • Is the inlet hose connected higher than 4" above the floor?

Does not drain or spin:

  • Does the program include draining?
  • Is the drain pump clogged?
  • Is the drain hose kinked?
  • Is the coin trap clean?

Too many suds in the drum:

  • Are you using Front Load detergent?
  • Is the correct amount of detergent being used?

Vibrates during the spin cycle:

  • Have shipping bolts been removed?
  • Is the machine leveled correctly?
  • Is there enough space between the machine and adjacent units?
  • Is the machine loaded evenly?
  • Is the machine installed on carpet or a wooden floor?

Leaks:

  • Is the inlet hose metal ring properly attached?
  • Is the detergent dispenser obstructed?
  • Is the drain hose inserted correctly into the drain?

Not drying:

  • Is the dryer button correctly pressed?
  • Is the correct drying cycle selected (Time Dry/Sensor Dry)?

Not drying efficiently:

  • Is the end of the drain hose under water?
  • Is the drain pump obstructed?
  • Is the drum overloaded?
  • Is the cold water faucet open?
  • Is fabric softener being used?

Condensation at soap dispenser:

Slight condensation can occur and will evaporate; this is normal.
