Supervise cooking operations. Short cooking periods require continuous supervision.

Do not store items on the hob surface.

Avoid placing metal objects like knives, forks, lids, or utensils on the hob surface, as they can become hot.

Do not leave the hob unattended while in operation.

Always switch the hob to the 'off' position after each use.

Do not use a steam cleaner to clean the appliance.

⚠️ If the supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid hazards.

When the appliance is connected directly to the mains, an all-pole isolation switch with a contact gap of at least 3 mm must be installed.

Safety for Children and Vulnerable Persons

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above, and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Installation Safety

⚠️ Refer to safety chapters.

Installation and connection of the appliance must only be carried out by a qualified technician registered according to relevant gas safety standards.

Follow the installation instructions provided with the appliance.

Ensure the installation complies with all applicable local laws, regulations, directives, and standards for electrical safety and proper recycling.

Maintain minimum clearances between the appliance and other units as per assembly instructions.

Protect cut surfaces on the worktop from moisture using the provided sealing compound to prevent swelling. Ensure the appliance is securely fitted to the worktop without gaps. Do not use silicone sealant between the appliance and the worktop.

Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.

ℹ️ Information for authorized installers only.

Electrical Connection Safety

⚠️ Risk of electric shock.

All electrical connections must be performed by a qualified technician.

The appliance must be connected to earth.

Before performing any work, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.

Use the correct mains cable. Ensure the mains cable does not tangle. Use the cable strain relief clip. Ensure the cable or plug does not touch hot appliance parts or cookware.

Remove all packaging materials.

Avoid using multi-way adapters or extension cords.

Ensure the appliance is correctly installed. Incorrect installation or failure to secure the cable or plug may cause the terminal to overheat.

Check the appliance's rating plate for voltage compatibility with your mains supply.

Ensure the cable size is adequate for the appliance's power rating.

Use the correct type of mains cable (e.g., H03V2V2-F T90) suitable for the voltage and operating temperature. Ensure the cable length is adequate for the load.

Connect the blue neutral wire to the terminal marked 'N'. Connect the brown or black live wire to the terminal marked 'L'.

Ensure the cable is routed so its temperature does not exceed 90°C.

If connecting directly to the mains, install an all-pole isolation switch with a contact gap of at least 3 mm.

Do not connect the mains plug to the socket until installation is complete. Ensure the mains plug is accessible after installation.

If the mains socket is loose, do not connect the mains plug.

Never pull the power cable to disconnect the appliance. Always pull the plug.

Use appropriate safety devices like circuit breakers, fuse-links, residual current devices, and contactors.

The electrical installation must include an isolation device allowing disconnection from the mains supply on all poles, with a contact gap of at least 3 mm.

Gas Connection Safety

⚠️ Risk of fire or explosion.

All gas connections must be performed by a qualified technician.

Check compliance with local distribution conditions, gas type, and pressure, and adjust the appliance accordingly.

Ensure adequate ventilation around the appliance.

Gas supply information is on the rating plate.

This appliance must not be connected to a flue or combustion gas disposal unit. Ensure connection complies with current installation regulations and provides adequate ventilation.

If the gas pipe is damaged, do not attempt repair; contact local after-sales service.

Gas connections must be correctly installed and secured to the hob's gas inlet. Failure to do so may result in gas leaks.

After installation, check for tightness and secure the gas pipe. Use soapy water to check for leaks; do not use a flame.

For gas conversion, only a certified technician should perform the conversion or replacement.

When converting to a different gas type, attach the relevant information label near the gas supply pipe before closing the appliance.

If the gas supply pressure differs from the required pressure, a suitable pressure regulator must be installed. This is not supplied with the product and must be ordered separately from your local after-sales service provider.

The pressure regulator must be installed on the gas supply pipe in accordance with applicable regulations.

When connecting to liquid gas (Propane G31 or Butane G30), the adjustment screw must be securely fastened.

If the seal is damaged, request a replacement from the after-sales service provider.

Usage

Daily Use

⚠️ Refer to safety chapters.

Ignition

Always ignite the burner before placing pots or pans.

To ignite a burner:

  1. Press and turn the control knob counter-clockwise to the maximum setting marked with a symbol.
  2. Continue pressing the knob for approximately 5 seconds to heat the thermostat and activate the safety device. If the knob is not pressed, the gas supply will be cut off.
  3. Once the flame ignites, you can adjust it.

ℹ️ If the burner does not ignite after several attempts, check that the burner and cap are correctly positioned.

⚠️ Do not continue pressing the control knob for more than 15 seconds. If the burner does not ignite after 15 seconds, release the knob, turn it to the 'off' position, wait for at least one minute, and try igniting again.

If there is no electricity, you can ignite the burner manually. Bring a flame close to the burner, push the appropriate knob down, and turn it counter-clockwise to the fully open position to release gas.

⚠️ Be cautious when using open flames in the kitchen. The manufacturer is not responsible for misuse of flames.

If the burner accidentally extinguishes, turn the control knob to the 'off' position, wait for one minute, and then try to ignite it again.

Burner Operation

The hob is equipped with progressive thermostats, which allow for more precise flame regulation.

When the main power is connected after installation or a power outage, the spark generator is automatically activated.

Flame Adjustment

To turn off the flame, turn the control knob clockwise towards the 'off' symbol.

⚠️ Always turn off the flame or switch off the appliance before removing pots from the burner.
