This guide provides essential information for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the PAX D195 mobile payment terminal.

2. Installation
SAM/SIM Card:
- Remove the battery cover.
- Remove the battery.
- Insert the SAM/SIM card to the corresponding card slot (Note: The default hardware configuration only supports SIM 1 slot).
Battery:
Align the battery tip side to the battery tip in the terminal and insert.
3. Instruction
Power ON/OFF:
- Power on: Plug in the power adapter or insert the battery. Press the power button for 3 seconds until the PAX LOGO displays on the LCD.
- Power off: Press the power button for 3 seconds until "Power off" displays on the LCD, then press "ENTER". The POS terminal will then be turned off.
IC Card:
Put the IC card chip side upward, push the IC card into the slot until it reaches the bottom.
Contactless Card:
The card read area is above the LCD. Place the card above the LCD.
Battery Charge Display:
Connecting the USB port with an external adapter can charge the battery. A charging indicator will be displayed.
Battery Charge Style:
Please use the original adapter for charging.

Storage Environment:
- Temperature: -20°C~70°C (-4°F~158°F)

4. Installation and Usage Tips
- Avoid placing the terminal in direct sunlight, high temperature, moist, or dusty environments.
- Do not allow non-professionals to repair the terminal.
- Before inserting a card, please check the inside and around of the IC card slot. If you find any suspicious objects, report them to the relevant administrator.
5. Lithium Ion Battery Usage Tips
WARNING:
- Do not use the battery in sunlight or smoky, dusty environments.
- Do not strike, squeeze, tread on the battery, or throw it into liquid or fire.
- If the battery is visibly damaged, deformed, or exhibits serious exothermic behavior, stop using it immediately and replace it!
- If the continuous working time is only half of that of a new battery, the battery life may be at its end. Please replace it!
- Always use the specified battery model and charger; otherwise, explosion may occur.
- Charging time should not exceed 24 hours. If the battery is out of power, please recharge it promptly. Avoid damaging the battery through over-charging or over-discharging.
- If the device is not used for a long time, please recharge the battery every 6 months to prevent shortening its lifespan.
- It is suggested to replace the battery when it has been used for 2 years.
