Usage Information

Intended Age and Weight: Suitable from when the child starts walking and can sit down and stand up independently (approximately 12 months) up to a maximum weight of 18 kg.

General Safety Warnings:

• Before use, remove and dispose of all plastic bags and packaging materials, and keep them out of reach of children.
• Do NOT place the product near a window. Children may use it as a step, leading to a fall from the window. ?
• Be aware of the risk of open fires and other strong heat sources near the product. ?
• Do NOT place the product near a window where cords from blinds or curtains could pose a strangulation hazard to the child.
• Do not use the product if any part is broken, torn, or missing.
• Do not use accessories or replacement parts not approved by the manufacturer.
• Place only on flat and stable surfaces.
• Product dimensions: 44/88 x 50 x 30/38 cm.
• Ensure the area where the seat will be used is free of objects or furniture that could obstruct or compromise its correct use.
• Do not allow the child to stand up on the seat to avoid the risk of falling.
• Do not allow more than one child to sit on the seat at a time to maintain stability.
• This seat is intended for domestic use only on dry surfaces.
• Do not use as a booster seat.
• Do not use on raised surfaces (e.g., tables, chairs).
• Do not use near stairs, elevated, slanting, uneven surfaces, or swimming pools. This seat is not a flotation device.
• Never use this seat to transport a child in a motor vehicle.
• Ensure the cover is always fitted correctly on the seat padding.
• Do not allow other children to play unsupervised near the seat.
• This product is not suitable for extended periods of sleeping.
• Do not make any modifications: any alteration may compromise safety.
• Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fabric fading. After prolonged exposure to high temperatures, wait a few minutes before using the product.
• Never move the seat while a child is seated on it.

Care and Maintenance

The Chicco Twist features a durable, dirt-resistant, and fully removable fabric cover. Cover fitting/removal must be performed by an adult. Keep padded parts out of reach of children during these operations.

Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may cause fabric fading. If any part is damaged, do not use the product and keep it out of reach of children.

For washing fabric parts, follow the instructions on the product's care label. The product's lining is fully removable.

Never use abrasive detergents or solvents.

After each wash, check the fabric and stitching for durability.

WARNING: When removing or replacing the cover, handle both the padding and the fabric with care to prevent accidental tearing or damage. This process may take a few minutes.

Cover Removal and Reattachment:

Completely remove the cover starting from the padded base. To open the zipper, use a paper clip as shown in the diagrams. Pay special attention to the padding on the armrests. Then remove the padding for the headrest and leg rest (refer to diagrams 4-7).

To reattach the cover, perform the steps in reverse order. Start by inserting the padding for the leg rest and headrest into the cover. Finally, insert the base padding, ensuring the armrests are correctly covered.

Warranty

The product is guaranteed against any conformity defects under normal usage conditions as per the instructions. The warranty does not apply to damages caused by improper use, wear and tear, or accidental events.
