Ariston Lydos Hybrid: Quick Start Installation

1. Accessories
Supplied:
- A: 1 overpressure device (8 bar)
- B: 2 dielectric unions (1/2”)
- C: Condensate drainage pipe
- D: Y-shaped condensate water connector
- E: 2 wall plugs, 2 hooks
Not supplied:
- F: 1 safety unit (mandatory in EU countries requiring it)
- G: 2 connection pipes
- H: Siphon
- I: Spacer
- L: Union
- M: Teflon tape
- O: Drill
- N: Spirit level
2. Installation Approach
Number of people required:
- 80 l model: two people
- 100 l model: two people
3. Product Positioning
For correct operation, the installation room must have a minimum volume of 13 m³. The air temperature in the room must be between 10°C and 40°C. If the temperature is outside this range, the product will only operate using the heating element.
Observe the minimum installation distances to ensure correct operation and sufficient space for maintenance.
4. Using the Installation Jig
The external packaging contains a full-size drawing of the product, showing the exact position of slots and brackets.
5. Fixing the Appliance to the Wall
- Level the jig and mark the hole positions.
- Drill the holes using drill O.
- Insert the wall plugs and hooks E into the holes.
- Place the brackets on the hooks, ensuring they are properly secured.
6. Dismantling the Side Covers
- Remove the plastic screw caps.
- Remove the screws and the bottom cover.
- Detach the side fins.
7. Hydraulic Connection
Water inlet and outlet are marked with a blue ring (cold water inlet) and a red ring (hot water outlet). Apply Teflon tape M to the appliance’s cold and hot water pipes.
Installation in non-EU countries (left diagram):
- Secure the dielectric unions B.
- Install the overpressure device A.
- Connect the hoses G.
- Screw on the condensate water connector D.
Installation in EU countries (right diagram):
- Secure the dielectric unions B.
- Screw the safety unit F onto the cold water pipe.
- Connect the hoses G.
- Install the union L and the spacer I.
- Turn the drainage elbow to connect the condensate drainage pipe C to the spacer I.
- Connect the siphon H to the spacer I.
Connect the domestic water distribution pipe to the hot water pipe. Fill the product until water comes out of the tap.
8. Electrical Connections
The product is equipped with a cable and plug. Simply connect it to a power supply source.
