Introduction
This product is a 4.3-inch touch color display, specifically designed for the 51.2V 100AH server rack battery series energy storage products. It provides intuitive display of battery pack sampling parameters, temperature, protocols, etc., and features simple operation and a user-friendly interface, supporting Chinese, English, and Ukrainian languages. It complies with the ROHS 2.0 standard.
1. Product Front and Back View Presentation
The front of the display shows the "BESS" interface with key information:
- Current Battery Voltage (Voltage/V): e.g., 50.34 V
- Parallel connection status: e.g., Parallel: 1
- Current Power: e.g., Power: 0 W
- State of Charge (SOC): e.g., 60%
- Current Amperage (Current/A): e.g., 0.0 A
- Operating State: e.g., State: IDLE
- Ambient Temperature: e.g., 27℃
- Remaining Capacity: e.g., 60 Ah
- Minimum cell voltage: e.g., MIN: 22
- Maximum cell voltage: e.g., MAX: 26
The back of the display shows various labels including Product Model, Operating Power, Standby Dissipation, Operating Temperature, Communication Interface, Standby Conditions, Wake-up Method, Screen Specification, and Weight. It also features connection ports.
2. Product Dimension
The external dimensions of the battery monitor are approximately 139.5mm (width) x 97.5mm (height) x 21.3mm (depth).
Quick Guide
Compatible Batteries
The ESM-100 battery monitor is compatible with the following ECO-WORTHY server rack batteries:
- 48V 100Ah Server Rack Battery V3
- 48V 50Ah Server Rack Battery
- 48V 100Ah Server Rack Battery V1/V2 (can be monitored via V3 as the master device; firmware upgrade not necessary)
How to Connect
To connect the system:
- Master Device: V3
- Slave Device: Supports V1/V2/V3
Connect the RS485-2 port between the batteries to establish communication and set master/slave addresses. Then, connect the RS232 port between the battery and the screen.
Note: Due to DIP switch address limitations, V1/V2 are recommended for slave devices in the address range 2-15.

Interface Features Overview
1. Main Page
The main interface displays statistical information about the battery system, including average State of Charge (SoC), highest and lowest cell voltages, highest and lowest cell temperatures, average battery voltage, total system current, remaining capacity, operating power, charging and discharging MOS status, and other relevant data.
2. Language Switching
The display supports switching between Chinese, English, and Ukrainian languages. To change the language, navigate to the main page, click the settings button (represented by a gear icon ⚙️), and select the desired language option.
3. View Pack Information
To view detailed information for each battery pack, click the bottom-left button on the main page. This opens the battery pack selection page. Online slave units are indicated in green, while offline units are shown in white. Only online units can be selected for viewing.
When viewing a specific slave unit (e.g., "PACK #01"), the display shows:
- Pack Number
- Voltage and SOC
- Current
- Remaining Capacity
- Charge MOS status (green light indicates charging)
- Discharge MOS status (green light indicates discharging)
- Temperatures from four sensors (T1 to T4)
- Ambient Temperature (ENVT)
- Hottest Battery Module Temperature (MOST)
- Cell temperatures (in millivolts)
4. View Communication Protocol
To view or change the communication protocol, click the protocol button on the main page. This leads to the communication protocol interface where protocols like CAN-PCS (GOODWE) and RS485-PCS (GROEATT) can be selected.
Inverter-Related Settings
To modify protocols and parameters, users must first log in. Click the user button (?) on the bottom right of the main interface to access the login screen. Enter the default password "111111" for standard access. An alternative password "666888" may unlock additional functions for experienced users.
Warning: Modifying BMS parameters via the LCD touch screen requires authorization from ECO-WORTHY. Unauthorized modifications will be considered illegal and may void the warranty.
After successful login, return to the main interface and click the protocol button to access the protocol and parameter settings. Here, users can change protocols and related parameters according to their specific needs.
