Unique keys with dual functions printed on them make the K780 keyboard compatible with multiple operating systems (e.g., Mac OS X, iOS, Windows, Chrome, and Android). Color-coding of keys and dividing lines indicates functions or symbols reserved for different operating systems.
Key Color Coding
- Grey markings indicate functions found on Apple devices with Mac OS X or iOS.
- White markings with grey circles indicate symbols reserved for use with Alt Gr on Windows computers.
Dual Key Names
Keyboard modifiers on both sides of the space bar show two types of markings separated by dividing lines. The marking above the line indicates the modifier sent to a Windows or Android device. The marking below the line indicates the modifier sent to an Apple computer, iPhone, or iPad. The keyboard automatically uses the modifiers belonging to the selected device.
