Setup Instructions
1. Disable Built-in Bluetooth Before Use
Before plugging in the UGREEN Bluetooth Adapter, please check if your computer has built-in Bluetooth functionality.
Procedure:
- Press the [Win] + [X] keys simultaneously to open the Quick Link menu.
- Select Device Manager from the menu.
- Alternatively, right-click This PC, select Manage, then navigate to Device Manager.
- In Device Manager, look for a Bluetooth category.
- If you find an entry like "Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth" or "Generic Bluetooth Radio", right-click it and select Disable device.
- Confirm the action if prompted (e.g., "Do you really want to disable this device?").
Note: If your computer does not have built-in Bluetooth, proceed to the next step.
Important: DO NOT plug the adapter into your computer before disabling any built-in Bluetooth hardware.
2. Install and Use the Adapter
For Windows 8.1/10/11 (Plug and Play):
- Plug the UGREEN Bluetooth Adapter into an available USB port on your computer.
- Ensure your computer is connected to the Internet for automatic driver installation.
- Once installed, you can add Bluetooth devices. Right-click the [Bluetooth icon] in the taskbar and choose Add a Bluetooth Device, or go to Start > Settings > Devices.
- Make sure Bluetooth is turned on for the device you wish to connect.
- Select your Bluetooth device from the list and follow the on-screen wizard to complete the pairing process.
For Windows 7:
For Windows 7, you may need to manually install the driver software. Please refer to the Quick Start Guide or UGREEN's website for driver downloads and installation steps.
Troubleshooting

Issue: Bluetooth function not working or computer shows "Error Code 31".
Solution: The built-in Bluetooth in your computer was not disabled. Remove the adapter, disable the built-in Bluetooth device (e.g., "Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth") in Device Manager, then replug the adapter. -
Issue: Bluetooth icon does not appear.
Solution:- For Windows 7, ensure drivers are installed and the computer is restarted.
- Check Device Manager for any other active Bluetooth devices and disable them if present.
- The Bluetooth icon might be hidden. Go to Start > Settings > Devices > More Bluetooth Options > Options, and check "Show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area".

Issue: Cannot find or connect to a Bluetooth device.
Solution:- Ensure your device supports Bluetooth.
- Make sure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode.
- Keep your Bluetooth device within a range of 20 meters (66 feet) from the adapter.
- Try replugging the adapter.

Issue: Connecting multiple devices simultaneously.
Solution: The adapter supports connection to up to 5 Bluetooth devices (e.g., headphones, keyboards, mice, phones). However, if you connect two Bluetooth audio output devices (like headphones/speakers) simultaneously, only one will function at a time.
Important Notes
- Do not throw, drop, or subject the product to strong physical shock.
- Do not dismantle or attempt to repair the product yourself. Contact UGREEN after-sales service if necessary.
- When not in use for a long time, store the product carefully to avoid dust and humidity.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
