Preparation Before Connecting to the APP

Download APP

To begin, download the 'Smart Life' mobile application. You can achieve this by scanning the provided QR code or by searching for 'Smart Life' directly within your device's app store.

Configuration Network Considerations

Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) and that Bluetooth is enabled. For optimal performance, keep the SOS button within 15 meters of your Wi-Fi router, in an open and unobstructed area. Note that the effective range may vary depending on environmental conditions.

Connect to Mobile App

To initiate the connection process, press and hold the SOS button for approximately 5 seconds. The LED indicator on the button will begin flashing rapidly, signaling that it has entered the network configuration state. The configuration state is active for 2 minutes.

Open the 'Smart Life' app and tap the 'Add Device' option. Once the app automatically discovers the SOS button, tap 'Add' to proceed. You will then be prompted to enter your Wi-Fi network name and password. After entering the details, wait for the connection to complete successfully. The LED indicator will stop flashing once the device is connected.

Multi-Person Sharing

To allow others to use the SOS button or receive alerts, tap the upper right corner of the app interface. Select 'Share Device' from the options, then tap 'Add Sharing'. You can then choose your preferred method for sharing the device's functionality.

Installation

Installation Method

The SOS button offers flexible installation options. It can be securely mounted to various surfaces such as bathroom walls, toilets, or kitchen counters using the included double-sided tape. Alternatively, its lanyard design allows it to be conveniently worn around the neck.

Double-sided adhesive installation

To use the adhesive mounting, carefully tear off one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and firmly press it onto the back of the SOS button.
