At Sunrise Medical, we are committed to the continuous development of our products based on user feedback and customer experience.
Multi-Adjustable Armrest Extra Link
We have received feedback regarding the multi-adjustable armrest on the Q700 M HD, where, for some users, the joystick is not positioned far enough forward to be comfortable.
Based on this feedback, we have added an additional link to option SHP040065 – HD+ Flip Back Armrest. Chairs ordered with option SHP040065 will have the extra link fitted as standard.
Note: The additional link is only available on this option for the Q700 M HD as it requires the 2-point armrest support. This means the additional link is not downwards compatible for the Q300 M SEDEO Pro and Q500 M SEDEO Pro.
Updated Centre of Gravity
As part of our continuous improvement programme, we have also made adjustments to the factory CoG settings on the Q700 M HD. Previously, the CoG settings could be forward bias when the chair was ordered in combination with the swing-away legrests.
We have been able to find a solution to this where we have updated our seating matrix so that the CoG can be set further back, and the angle of the swing-away hangers is adjusted to negate any clashes.
These updates are now live in production. Any chairs ordered with these options will have these changes implemented.
