Qu-5/Qu-5D, Qu-6/Qu-6D, Qu-7/Qu-7D Firmware V1.1.0 Release Notes

V1.1.0 is a feature firmware release for the Qu series of digital audio mixers.

[Note] Firmware updates are included in the Qu-MixPad app, available for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows. To carry out an update from Qu-MixPad, ensure the app is up to date, connect to your Qu and follow the on-screen instructions.

[Note] Firmware can be installed via USB. Firmware files are downloaded as a compressed ZIP folder containing a *.bin file. Ensure you have the correct file for the Qu model you are updating.

Firmware File Names:

Qu-5 / Qu-5D = Qu-5UPG_1_1_0_r3712.bin
Qu-6 / Qu-6D = Qu-6UPG_1_1_0_r3712.bin
Qu-7 / Qu-7D = Qu-7UPG_1_1_0_r3712.bin

[Note] Format your USB device using the Qu mixer format utility. Not all USB devices will be compatible with the Qu mixer. Use the device only for the Qu mixer once you have formatted it and checked it to work correctly with the mixer.

[Note] If using Qu-MixPad or Qu4You apps, ensure that the first two numbers of the firmware and app versions match.

Qu firmware V1.1.0 and Qu MixPad V1.1.2 are compatible.

Qu firmware V1.0.2 and Qu MixPad V1.1.2 are not compatible.

[Note] Scenes and shows created with an earlier version of firmware can be recalled on a Qu running more recent firmware releases, but scenes and shows created using the latest firmware cannot be recalled on older firmware.

[Note] Updating firmware will not clear or delete data, but it is best practice to store a Show before carrying out an update.

ID-1342 - Fixed issue where Stereo Inserts can become unassigned on Scene recall
ID-1314 - MIDI Channel Faders no longer reset to -Inf on Scene recall
ID -1154 - Fixed issue where loading a Gated Verb can mute the FX Return
ID -1243 - Fixed assigning Talkback to Mix Channel no longer mutes the SigGen
ID -942 - Fixed changing between GEQ and FBA via Scene Recalls could cause noise
ID-1327 – Fixed MIDI Faders not working correctly

Known Issues

ID-990 - When updating from V0.9.0 (pre-production) or V1.0.0 firmware, USB storage not already formatted to FAT32 is not recognised and cannot be formatted using the Qu.
