A quality guarantee applies to the consumer (does not include wear parts).
General Safety Instructions
- Connect the unit only to an earthed wall socket with a mains voltage of 220-240V 50/60Hz.
- Never leave children unattended near the connected unit.
- This product can be used by children and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or instructed on safe use and understand the associated risks.
- Place the unit on a flat, dry surface indoors, away from heat sources.
- Do not immerse the unit in water or similar liquids for cleaning.
- Never pull on the mains lead; always use the plug to disconnect from the mains to prevent damage. If the mains lead or unit is damaged, do not use it and have it repaired by an authorized service workshop.
- The user is responsible for any consequences if the unit is used for purposes other than intended or without following the manual. Damage resulting from improper use is not covered by the guarantee or returns policy.
Product-Specific Safety Instructions
- The unit becomes hot during operation; only touch the handle.
- Hot steam rises from the unit during boiling; avoid this steam to prevent injury.
- Fill only within the marked areas to prevent dry boiling or boiling over.
- Only use water in the kettle.
- Always keep the unit's lid closed during operation.

Instructions for Use
The first time the kettle is boiled, discard the water to remove any dirt. This is also recommended after prolonged storage.
- Open the lid and pour water into the kettle between the MIN (0.5 L) and MAX (1.0 L) levels.
- Close the lid.
- Place the kettle on the base.
- Connect the mains lead to the wall socket.
- Switch the kettle on using the on/off switch; the indicator light will turn on. The kettle will switch off automatically when the water boils, and the indicator light will turn off.
- Boiling will stop immediately if the kettle is lifted from the base or if the switch is turned off.
Dry Boiling Protection
If the kettle is accidentally switched on without water, the dry boiling protection will automatically switch the unit off. If this happens, allow the unit to cool before refilling.
Cleaning
Exterior Cleaning
When the kettle is cool, wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. A small amount of mild dishwashing liquid can be used. Do not use strong detergents or chemicals.
Filter Cleaning
The spout contains a filter that should be cleaned regularly with a soft, damp cloth.
Descaling the Unit
Descale the unit with a descaler designed for this purpose, available from supermarkets. Descaling frequency depends on water hardness:
- Soft water: 3-4 months
- Medium-hard water: 4-6 weeks
- Hard water: 2-4 weeks
Products clogged with limescale are not covered by the product guarantee.
Storage
When the unit is not in use, the mains lead can be coiled underneath the base.
Product Disposal
Electrical and electronic devices must be collected and recycled according to law. Devices marked with the recycling symbol must be taken to a municipal recycling station.
