Connections
Ethernet Connection
An Ethernet connection is mandatory for the initial setup and configuration of the CDA-4D. Connect an Ethernet cable from your network to the ETHERNET port on the rear of the unit.
Diagram shows an Ethernet cable being plugged into the ETHERNET port on the rear panel.
Audio Inputs
The CDA-4D supports multiple audio input types:
- RCA: Connect standard RCA audio cables to the ANALOGUE IN 1 or ANALOGUE IN 2 ports.
- S/PDIF: Connect S/PDIF digital audio cables to the DIGITAL IN 1 port.
- Digital Inputs: The DIGITAL IN 2 port is also available for digital audio sources.

Speaker Wiring
Connect your loudspeakers using the provided terminal block connector (g).
1. Standard Wiring
Connect speaker wires to the terminals labeled CHANNEL 1 (for Left speakers) and CHANNEL 2 (for Right speakers). Ensure correct polarity by connecting positive (+) terminals to positive (+) and negative (-) terminals to negative (-).
Diagram shows speaker wires connected to the terminal block (g) for Channel 1 and Channel 2, indicating positive and negative terminals.
2. Bridge-Tied Load Wiring
For higher power output to a single speaker, use Bridge-Tied Load configuration. Connect the positive (+) wire to the BRIDGE terminal and the negative (-) wire to the CHANNEL 1 negative terminal on the block (g).
Diagram shows speaker wires connected to the BRIDGE and CHANNEL 1 negative terminals on the terminal block (g).
Power and Initial Setup
Power Connection
Connect the supplied power cord (d) to the power input on the rear of the CDA-4D unit and to a suitable mains power outlet.
Diagram shows the power cord (d) being plugged into the rear of the unit.
Front Panel Indicators
The front panel features indicators labeled '1' and '2', which may provide status information during operation.
