1 Back Panel

The back panel includes:

  • 1. DC output terminal: RED "+", BLACK "-"
  • 2. Remote voltage compensation
  • 3. Duct outlet (No obstructions within 10 cm)
  • 4. RS485 interface (Female)
  • 5. CAN interface
  • 6. Dry contact/Analog interface
  • 7. AC Input

1.1 Interface

The device features multiple interface types:

  • Digital IO Interface: PIN 1-3 provide normally open and normally closed dry contact outputs. PIN 2 is the common port. Output capacity: 1A/30VDC or 0.15A/220VAC. PIN 5-6 are dry contact inputs for external control or feedback.
  • Analog Interface: Optional, customizable signals. Supports up to four analog channels (two input, two output).
  • RS485 Interface: Serial communication using standard Modbus-RTU protocol.
  • CAN Interface: Two internal parallel CAN bus interfaces for serial or parallel connection between devices, and for external communication.

1.2 Voltage Compensation

Utilize twisted-pair cables with high insulation for remote voltage compensation. Ensure correct polarity. When not in use, short the SENSE terminals (PIN1/PIN2 and PIN3/PIN4).

1.3 Parallel Connection

Devices can be connected in parallel for increased output capability via CAN communication. A 120 ohm terminal resistor is required for the CAN bus.

2 Front Panel

The front panel provides user interaction and status indication.

2.1 Display Area

The display area shows real-time operating status, including:

  • Display Area: Current output information.
  • Setting Area: Voltage, current, and power reference values, and priority settings.
  • Status Area: Buzzer, lock key status, date/time, working time, and dry contact/application mode status.
  • Mode Area: Control and output modes.
  • Series/Parallel Status Area: Master/slave number and CAN data status when operating in parallel.

Note: Status area elements can be hidden. Application mode and dry contact status icons are displayed when active.

Output modes include Common Mode (CV, CC, CP) and Application Mode (Steps, etc.).

2.1.1 Home

Three Home screens are available:

  • Home: Comprehensive real-time status.
  • Auxiliary Home: Maximizes real-time output information.
  • Waveform Home: Displays output in an intuitive waveform manner.

Note: The Home screen is the primary interface for setting reference values. Pressing "ENTER" sets waveform sampling rate. VOLT, CURR, or POWER keys control waveform display.

2.2 Operating Area

The operating area consists of keys and a knob for controlling the device.

  • Keys: VOLT, CURR, VOLT+CURR for setting references; LOCK for locking; ON/OFF for output control; Navigation keys (←, →, ↑, ↓); DEL, EXIT, SAVE, RECALL, L/R, CONF for various functions.
  • Knob: Used for menu navigation, input value adjustment (clockwise/anticlockwise rotation), and confirming settings.

Basic Operation:

Voltage Reference Setting: Press "VOLT" or "Knob" key, enter value, press "ENTER" or "Knob" to confirm.

Current Reference Setting: Press "CURR" or "Knob" key twice, enter value, press "ENTER" or "Knob" to confirm.

Power Reference Setting: Press "VOLT" + "CURR" simultaneously or "Knob" key three times, enter value, press "ENTER" or "Knob" to confirm.

Output Control: Press "ON/OFF" key to turn output ON (light) or OFF.

Voltage/Current Priority Switching: Double-click "VOLT" or "CURR" key (output off) to switch priority.

SAVE Setting: Press "SAVE" to store common mode or application mode data.

Recall Setting: Press "RECALL", select data type, press "ENTER" to recall saved data.

Local/Remote Mode: Press "L/R" to switch modes.

Buzzer Control: Navigate via system settings to adjust buzzer levels.

3 Menu Structure

The device features a hierarchical menu system for configuration and operation:

  • Application (APP): Step Mode, Charge Mode, Function Generator Mode.
  • Information: Error Log, Operating Log, Event Log, Version Information, SN.
  • System Setting: Language, Buzzer, Date/Time, UI Settings (Background Color, Theme, Font, Status Icon, Dim Screen).
