FAQ

1. How do I invite family and friends to use my camera together?
Open the APP and select your camera on the home page. Click "Share" in the camera settings to enter the sharing page, where a QR code will be automatically generated. Your friends can open the app and gain access by scanning this QR code on their phone.
2. Why doesn't the Wi-Fi name appear when I connect to Wi-Fi?
On Apple devices with iOS 13 and above, you need to turn on the "Location Permission" for the app in the system settings and change it to "Allow while in use".
3. Will the camera display a red light after turning on the night vision function?
The built-in IR LED lights are used for night vision. When night vision is turned on, the camera may display some faint red lights, but the picture quality remains clear in dark environments.
4. What are the requirements for Wi-Fi?
Please use a 2.4GHz wireless network. The device does not support 5GHz wireless networks. Additionally, set the Wi-Fi authentication method to WPA2-PSK or other lower-level security methods, and ensure a password is set.
5. How far should the camera be from the router?
Testing indicates that Wi-Fi connection distance can normally reach 150 meters in an open area. However, the actual situation depends on Wi-Fi signal strength and environmental factors like thick walls, electromagnetic devices, and large metal objects, which can cause interference. If the camera connection is weak or unstable, place it as close to the router as possible.
6. What should I do if the equipment fails?
Long press the power button to restart the camera. If there is no response, open the USB silicone cover at the bottom of the camera, long press the reset button to reset, and then long press the power button to restart the camera.
7. Can't add a camera for the first time?
Ensure the camera is powered on and the status light is flashing blue slowly, or you hear "Please use the App for WiFi configuration" from the camera.
  1. Verify the Wi-Fi account and password are correct.
  2. Confirm you are using a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as 5GHz is not supported.
  3. Ensure a stable network connection and operate close to the router when adding the camera.
  4. If QR code network configuration fails, try AP network configuration (connect your mobile phone to the camera's Wi-Fi hotspot and return to the App). Use a simple password without special characters.
  5. If both methods fail, try restarting your router.
  6. Provide your router's nameplate label if issues persist.
8. TF card not recognized?
After inserting the TF card, check the "System Settings" -> "TF Card Recording Settings" in the APP. If it shows "No TF card detected", recognition has failed.
  1. Use a branded TF card.
  2. Ensure the TF card is recognized normally by a computer.
  3. Only FAT32 format is supported.
  4. Recommended TF card capacity is between 2-128GB.
  5. Use a high-speed TF card (Class 4 or above).
  6. Try inserting and removing the TF card multiple times.
  7. Attempt using a different TF card.
  8. Allow some time (approx. 30 seconds) for the camera to recognize the inserted TF card.
