Setting the time for the first use
(or any time you want to update it)

1. Take your mobile phone (iOS) and ensure it is connected to your personal Wi-Fi.
2. Take your clock and remove the lid from the case back, place two lithium AA batteries in the clock (min. 1.5Volts each).

3. Press firmly both blue buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds to start the searching function. The hour and minute hands should now move to start the Wi-Fi network search function.
Note: There is a time limit to set the clock, the below steps need to be executed before the hour hand is at 12.00 again. If not, the process needs to be restarted from the beginning.
4. Take your mobile phone (iOS), and go to settings. Go to WLAN/Wi-Fi (no app needed). Click on the name of your Wi-Fi clock <Wi-Fi-ClockEXAMPLE> and wait for the pop-up page to appear.
Note: Ensure you are connected to a 2.4GHz frequency.

5. A pop-up page will show up. Please fill in all the boxes with the needed information. - select your language - select your personal Wi-Fi network - enter your personal Wi-Fi password - select your Time Zone - select daylight `Saving Time' (Summer or Standard)
6. Then, click on "Save my settings" and wait for the clock to finish its full cycle.

7. A message `Your Mondaine clock is connected' will appear. Setting the time may take up to 2 minutes. After the clock completes its first cycle and reaches 12 o'clock, the hands will start a new cycle and stop at the correct hour, minute, and second.
Note: If the hands do not move after their first cycle, go back to step 3, and repeat process.

A. Wi-Fi Clock function descriptions
stop2Go FUNCTION The second hand turns 360° degree in 58.5 seconds, it stops at 12 o `clock and pause for 1.5 seconds.
EOL (END OF LIFE) BATTERY If the hour and minute hands stop at 1:50, the battery voltage is low, and the battery needs to be replaced (AA batteries, lithium, alkaline).
Wi-Fi FUNCTION Wi-Fi clock only supports 2.4GHz connection. A weaker connection will not permit the clock to function properly.
SUMMER AND WINTER TIME Time changes are NOT DONE AUTOMATICALLY. This needs to be set manually, the same way as the first installation of the clock (go back to step 1).

B. Additional setting page information
The setting page has 4 languages to choose: English, German, Chinese, Japanese.
SEARCH Wi-Fi BUTTON Click Wi-Fi network (SSID) dialog box will show the SSID with the strongest signal.
RESET To restore the interface content to its default settings, press both blue buttons located on the back of the clock case - left button is M.SET and right button is REC. Make sure to press both buttons simultaneously and firmly for 10 seconds to complete the reset.
SAVE YOUR SETTINGS BUTTON Wi-Fi clock connected successfully: "Your Mondaine clock is connected", then you can exit the mobile phone setting interface.
Wi-Fi clock networking failure: "Didn't connect-try again". Please check the Wi-Fi Password and click again "Save Your Settings".

C. Fault verification and solution
FAULT 1 After powering on the Wi-Fi clock, the hands keep moving, stopping briefly every 10 seconds before starting again.
Solution: The battery is low. Replace it with a new alkaline battery. (AA batteries, lithium, alkaline)
FAULT 2 After setting up the Wi-Fi network, the hands stop at 12 o'clock because the Wi-Fi clock couldn't get the time. This means it didn't connect correctly to your Wi-Fi network.
Solution: Check that the Wi-Fi network and password are correct. Click the "Save your Settings" button and try again. If needed, restart the Wi-Fi clock connection settings from step 1.
