NOTE The appliance may only be used in a fixed position and only for the purpose described. It is not for outdoor use! The rating of this product (as marked on the product identification plate) is based on specific loading tests. Normal use or the use of other recommended attachments may draw significantly less power. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Please read these instructions before operating the appliance. · Electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified professional in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE wiring regulations. Appliance must be earthed. A means for electrical disconnection must be incorporated in the wiring in accordance with the latest wiring rules. Unit must be connected to a single phase supply with a mains voltage as specified on the rating plate. Do not carry the appliance by the supply cord. · If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified professional in order to avoid a hazard. The appliance must not be installed below an electrical socket. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. In order to avoid a hazard for very young children, this appliance should be installed with lowest heated rail at least 600mm above the ground. The towel rail is to be installed so that switches and other controls cannot be touched by a person in the bath or shower. This appliance is designed to dry textiles washed in water. DELUX ECO ELECTRIC TOWEL RAIL Installation Wall Mounting Ensure selected mounting surface is suitable for the weight of the product. In order to avoid a hazard for very young children, this appliance should be installed with lowest heated rail at least 600mm above the ground. 1. Select a location for a towel rail. Mark & drill the four holes in the wall and insert wall plug, then the wall plates by screws. 2. Connect the brackets to the back of the towel rail. Tighten each bracket tightly enough that the circular plate is firmly held in place and does not rotate. 3. Connect Power Cord - 2 options available. 4. Secure the supports by tightening the allen screws. Power ON/OFF : Press button once to turn the unit on, press power button again to turn unit off. 2. TIMER : The timer can be adjusted from 2H(hour) to 4H(hour), press button to select. Note: Please turn the unit off when not in use. MAINTENANCE & CLEANING Always isolate the power supply before completing any maintenance. Do not use abrasive chemicals or materials to clean the appliance. Use a soft, damp cloth when cleaning the appliance. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazard. WARRANTY 1. This product is guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase against faulty components and manufacturing defects. 2. This warranty does not cover wear and tear, or misuse and abuse. Transportation, freight cost and labour costs are excluded. 3. Before taking any action in the event of a fault, contact our customer service team who will assist you. The products serial number and proof of purchase must be provided. In the event of a faulty product, deXpro will replace faulty parts or at its sole discretion replace the product. INFORMATION FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE PRODUCT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE EUROPEAN DIRECTIVE 2002/96/E. At the end of its working life this equipment must not be disposed of as household waste. It must be taken to a local authority waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service. Disposing of electrical and electronic equipment separately enables its components to be recovered and recycled to obtain significant savings in energy and resources. In order to underline the duty to dispose of this equipment separately, the product is marked with a crossed out dustbin.
