Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the Power/Unit Switch Button to turn on the tire pressure gauge. The display will show "0.0".

2. Connect to Valve: Place the Valve Connector perpendicularly and firmly onto the tire valve. Ensure a tight seal to prevent air leakage.

3. Read Pressure: Hold the gauge against the valve until the reading stabilizes. This should take about one second if the seal is good. Remove the gauge to read the pressure more easily.

4. Change Units/Power Off: Press the Power/Unit Switch Button to cycle through units (PSI, bar, kPa, kg/cm²). To turn off the device, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. The gauge also features an auto-off function, shutting down automatically after 40 seconds of inactivity.

Battery Replacement

1. Access Battery Compartment: Locate the battery compartment on the back of the tire pressure gauge and remove the cover.

2. Replace Batteries: The gauge uses 3 LR44 button cell batteries. Remove the old batteries and insert new ones.

3. Secure Compartment: Ensure the new batteries are inserted with the correct polarity (+/-). Reattach the battery compartment cover securely.

Troubleshooting

Blinking Screen

• Replace the batteries or contact AstroAI for assistance.

Gauge Does Not Turn On

• Check if the batteries are depleted. Replace them if necessary.
• Inspect the gauge for any signs of damage from being dropped.

Inaccurate Readings

• Adjust the angle of the Valve Connector to the tire valve, ensuring it is perpendicular for a proper seal.
• Verify that the connection is airtight.
• Contact AstroAI for repair or replacement if issues persist.

Abnormal Readings Displayed

• Ensure the ambient temperature is within the operating range (-5°C to 50°C). Indoor storage is recommended for optimal performance.
• Dropping the device may impair its functionality.
• Note: The gauge is designed for Schrader valves only and will not function with Presta valves.

Air Leaks

• A small amount of air may escape when initially connecting the gauge to the valve.
• Ensure a tight seal between the tire valve and the gauge's Valve Connector.
• Adjust the angle of the Valve Connector to the tire valve, ensuring it is seated perpendicularly.
• Contact AstroAI for repair or replacement if leaks continue.

Automatic On/Off

This gauge automatically turns off after 40 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

• A swallowed button cell or coin battery can cause severe internal chemical burns in as little as 2 hours.
• KEEP new and used batteries OUT OF REACH of CHILDREN.
• Seek immediate medical attention if a battery is suspected to be swallowed or inserted inside any part of the body.
• Remove and immediately recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations, keeping them away from children. Do NOT dispose of batteries in household trash or incinerate them.

• The nominal battery voltage is 4.5V.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
