Note for Recording: By default, images are recorded to the memory card. Ensure the 'Write recording data into local storage' option is enabled. Data on the memory card can be susceptible to damage or loss under certain conditions. Regular backups and annual replacement of memory cards are recommended. Using a Micro SD card of MLC NAND flash, Class 10, and a UPS for power outage protection is advised for optimal performance and data integrity.
Note for USB Storage and WiFi Adapter: Specific requirements for USB hard drives (2.5" or 3.5", version 2.0+, capacity not exceeding 2TB) are detailed. USB flash drives and hubs are not supported. External power for USB hard drives is necessary. Ensure the GV-WiFi Adapter is connected before powering on the camera.
