Toate formele de garanie îi pierd valabilitatea în cazul nerespectrii acestor instruciuni. 1.1 Sigurana vieii i bunurilor materiale u Nu amplasai produsul pe covor. Piesele electrice se vor supraînclzi din cauz c aerul nu poate s circule pe sub aparat. Acest fenomen poate provoca probleme produsului. u Scoatei produsul din priz când nu îl folosii. u Instalarea i depanarea produsului se vor efectua numai de ctre ageni de service autorizai. Productorul nu va fi rspunztor de daunele care pot aprea datorit procedurilor executate de persoane neautorizate. u Furtunurile de alimentare cu ap i de evacuare trebuie s fie fixate corect i s nu prezinte deteriorri. În caz contrar, pot s apar scurgeri de ap. u Dac în produs a rmas ap, nu deschidei ua de încrcare i nu demontai filtrul. În caz contrar, exist pericolul de inundare i vtmare corporal cauzat de apa fierbinte. u Nu forai deschiderea uii de încrcare când aceasta este blocat. Ua poate fi deschis la câteva minute dup terminarea ciclului de splare. În cazul forrii deschiderii uii de încrcare, ua i mecanismul de închidere se pot deteriora. u Folosii numai detergeni, balsam i alte produse pentru maini de splat automate. u Respectai instruciunile de pe etichetele rufelor i de pe ambalajul detergentului. Acest produs a fost fabricat în uniti moderne care sunt prietenoase cu mediul înconjurtor. 2 / RO Maina de splat / Manualul de utilizare 1.2 Sigurana copiilor u Acest produs poate fi utilizat de ctre copii cu vârsta de 8 ani sau mai mari i de persoane cu capaciti fizice, senzoriale sau mentale reduse sau lipsite de experiena i cunotinele necesare, dac sunt supravegheai sau instruii cu privire la utilizarea produsului într-o manier sigur i îneleg pericolele implicate. Copiii nu au voie s se joace cu aparatul. Curarea i întreinerea nu trebuie efectuat de copii, cu excepia cazului în care sunt supravegheai. Pericol de oc electric! u Acest produs îi va relua funcionarea dup o pan de curent. Dac dorii anularea programului, consultai seciunea ,,Anularea programului". u Conectai produsul la o priz împmântat i protejat cu o siguran de 16 A. Instalaia de împmântare trebuie efectuat de ctre un electrician calificat. Compania noastr nu îi asum responsabilitatea pentru daunele cauzate de utilizarea produsului fr împmântare conform cu reglementrile locale. u Nu curai niciodat produsul turnând sau pulverizând ap pe acesta! Pericol de oc electric! u Nu atingei techerul cu mâinile ude! Nu tragei de cablu pentru a scoate maina din priz; apucai întotdeauna priza cu o mân i tragei techerul cu cealat mân. Maina de splat / Manualul de utilizare 3 / RO u Produsul trebuie scos din priz în timpul procedurilor de instalare, întreinere, curare i reparare. u În cazul deteriorrii cablului de alimentare, acesta trebuie înlocuit de productor, de un service post-vânzare sau de o persoan cu calificri similare (de preferin un electrician) sau de o persoan desemnat de importator în vederea evitrii potenialelor pericole. 1.4 Sigurana suprafeelor fierbini În timp ce splai rufe la temperaturi înalte, geamul uii se va înfierbânta. Productorul nu va fi responsabil pentru daunele care pot aprea datorit procedurilor executate de persoane neautorizate. · Înainte de instalare, verificai dac produsul are avarii vizibile. Dac descoperii avarii, nu instalai produsul. Produsele avariate v pun în pericol sigurana. 4.1.1 Amplasarea corect · Amplasai produsul pe o podea rigid i plan. Nu îl amplasai pe un covor moale sau pe alte suprafee similare. · În cazul suprapunerii mainii de splat i a usctorului de rufe, greutatea total a acestora încrcate este de 180 de kilograme. Amplasai produsul pe o pardoseal solid i plan, care poate s susin aceast sarcin! · Nu amplasai produsul pe cablul de alimentare. · Nu instalai produsul în medii în care temperatura poate s scad sub 0 ºC. · Se recomand lsarea unui spaiu în prile laterale ale mainii pentru a reduce vibraiile i zgomotul · În cazul podelelor în trepte, nu amplasai produsul lâng margine sau pe o platform. · Nu aezai pe maina de splat surse de cldur precum plite, fiare de clcat, cuptoare, etc., i nu le folosii pe produs. 4.1.3 Demontarea uruburilor de fixare pentru transport 1 Desfacei toate uruburile cu o cheie pân când acestea se rotesc liber. 2 Scoatei uruburile de fixare pentru transport rsucindu-le uor. 3 Introducei capacele de plastic din punga manualului de utilizare în orificiile panoului spate. A C ATENIE: Demontai uruburile de fixare pentru transport înainte de a utiliza maina de splat! În caz contrar, produsul se va deteriora. Pstrai într-un loc sigur uruburile de fixare pentru transport, pentru a le refolosi la urmtoarea mutare a mainii de splat. Montai uruburile de fixare pentru transport în ordinea invers demontrii. Nu mutai produsul fr a monta uruburile de fixare pentru transport! Maina de splat / Manualul de utilizare 7 / RO 4.1.4 Conectarea la reeaua de ap C A Pentru funcionarea produsului, presiunea sursei de alimentare cu ap trebuie s fie între 1 i 10 bari (0,1 1 MPa). Pentru ca maina s funcioneze corect, din robinet trebuie s curg 10 80 litri de ap pe minut. Dac presiunea apei este mai mare, montai un reductor de presiune. ATENIE: Modelele cu o singur priz de ap nu trebuie conectate la robinetul de ap cald. În caz contrar, rufele vor fi deteriorate sau funcionarea mainii va fi întrerupt de sistemul su de protecie. ATENIE: Nu montai pe produsul nou furtunuri de alimentare cu ap vechi sau folosite. Riscai ptarea hainelor. 1 Strângei manual piuliele furtunului. Nu folosii instrumente pentru strângerea piulielor. 2 Dup conectarea furtunurilor, verificai dac nu exist scurgeri la punctele de conectare deschizând complet robinetele. Dac detectai scurgeri, închidei robinetul i desfacei piulia. Strângei la loc piulia dup ce ai verificat garnitura. Pentru prevenirea posibilelor scurgeri de ap i a daunelor asociate cu acestea, meninei robinetele închise atunci când nu folosii produsul. 4.1.5 Conectarea furtunului de evacuare la canalizare · Ataai captul furtunului de evacuare direct la canalizare, la chiuvet sau la cad. A ATENIE: Casa dvs. va fi inundat dac furtunul se desface din locaul su în timpul evacurii apei. Pericol de oprire datorit temperaturilor mari de splare! Pentru a preveni aceste situaii i a v asigura c maina realizeaz fr probleme procesele de alimentare cu ap i evacuare a apei, fixai bine furtunul de evacuare. 100 cm 40 cm · Conectai furtunul de evacuare la o înlime de cel puin 40 cm i cel mult 100 cm. · Dac furtunul de evacuare este ridicat dup ce a fost aezat la nivelul podelei sau aproape de pmânt (mai puin de 40 cm deasupra pmântului), evacuarea apei se face mai greu, iar hainele pot s rmân excesiv de ude. Respectai înlimile descrise în figur. · Pentru a preveni scurgerea apei reziduale înapoi în main i pentru a uura evacuarea, nu introducei captul furtunului în apa rezidual i nu îl introducei mai mult de 15 cm în canalizare. Dac este prea lung, scurtai-l. · Captul furtunului nu trebuie îndoit, nu trebuie clcat i nu trebuie strivit între canalizare i main. · Dac furtunul este prea scurt, adugai un furtun de prelungire original. Lungimea furtunului nu trebuie s fie mai mare de 3,2 m. În caz contrar, acestea se pot deteriora. 1 Desfacei manual contrapiuliele picioarelor. 2 Reglai picioarele pân când maina este stabil i echilibrat. 3. Strângei manual toate contrapiuliele. 4.1.7 Racordul electric Conectai produsul la o priz împmântat i protejat cu o siguran de 16 A. Compania noastr nu îi asum responsabilitatea pentru daunele cauzate de utilizarea produsului fr împmântare conform cu reglementrile locale. · Racordul trebuie s respecte reglementrile naionale. · Cablajul circuitului prizei de alimentare trebuie s fie suficient pentru cerinele aparatului. Este recomandat utilizarea unui Întreruptor cu curent diferenial rezidual (GFCI). · techerul cablului de alimentare trebuie s fie uor accesibil dup instalare. · Dac sigurana sau întreruptorul existent are o capacitate mai mic de 16 amperi, apelai la un electrician calificat pentru a instala o siguran de 16 amperi. · Tensiunea prizei trebuie s fie identic cu tensiunea indicat în seciunea ,,Specificaii tehnice". · Nu conectai maina folosind prelungitoare sau triplu techere. B ATENIE: Cablurile de curent deteriorate trebuie înlocuite de un agent de service autorizat. 4.1.8 Prima utilizare Înainte de a utiliza produsul, asigurai-v c ai fcut toate pregtirile conform instruciunilor din seciunile ,,Instruciuni importante privind sigurana i mediul" i ,,Instalare". Înainte de a spla rufe, pornii programul Curare tambur. Dac maina nu este prevzut cu acest program, aplicai metoda descris în seciunea 4.4.2. C Folosii o soluie anticalcar adecvat pentru maini de splat. Este posibil ca în main s existe ap rmas din timpul proceselor de control al calitii. Aceasta nu afecteaz produsul. Maina de splat / Manualul de utilizare 9 / RO 4.2 Pregtire 4.2.1 Sortarea rufelor * Sortai rufele în funcie de material, culoare, grad de murdrire i temperatur de splare permis. * Respectai întotdeauna instruciunile de pe etichetele rufelor. 4.2.2 Pregtirea rufelor pentru splare · Rufele cu accesorii metalice, cum ar fi sutienele cu întrituri, cataramele sau nasturii metalici vor deteriora maina. Îndeprtai piesele metalice sau splai hainele într-un sac pentru rufe sau o fa de pern. · Scoatei toate obiectele din buzunare, cum ar fi monedele, stilourile i agrafele, întoarcei buzunarele pe dos i periai-le. Astfel de obiecte pot deteriora produsul sau pot provoca zgomote. · Punei articolele mici precum osetele de copii i ciorapii de nailon într-o pung pentru rufe sau o fa de pern. · Plasai perdelele în interior fr a le comprima. Îndeprtai accesoriile perdelelor. · Închidei fermoarele, coasei nasturii slbii i rupturile. · Produsele cu eticheta ,,Splare la main" sau ,,Splare manual" se spal folosind programul adecvat. · Nu splai împreun rufe colorate i rufe albe. Din obiectele noi de bumbac închise la culoare poate iei mult vopsea. Splai-le separat. · Petele dificile trebuie tratate înainte de splare. Dac nu suntei sigur, apelai la o curtorie. · Folosii doar pigmeni i substane anti-calcar adecvate pentru mainile de splat. Urmai întotdeauna intruciunile de pe ambalaj. · Splai rufele delicate i pantalonii întori pe dos. · Pstrai articolele de îmbrcminte din lân de Angora în congelator timp de câteva ore înainte de a le spla. Aceasta va reduce scmoarea. · Rufele care intr în contact cu substane cum sunt fina, praful de lmâie, lapte praf etc. trebuie scuturate bine înainte de a fi introduse în main. Astfel de pulberi i prafuri de pe rufe se pot acumula în timp pe componentele interne ale mainii i pot cauza avarii. 4.2.3 Sugestii pentru economia de energie i ap Informaiile de mai jos v vor ajuta s utilizai maina într-o manier ecologic i cu economie de energie/ap. · Utilizai produsul la cea mai ridicat capacitate de încrcare permis pentru programul pe care l-ai selectat, dar nu o supraîncrcai. Consultai ,,Tabel de programe i consum". · Respectai instruciunile privind temperatura de pe ambalajul detergentului. · Splai la temperaturi joase rufele cu grad redus de murdrire. · Folosii programe mai scurte pentru a spla cantiti mici de rufe cu grad redus de murdrire. · Nu folosii ciclul de presplare i temperaturi mari pentru rufele care nu sunt foarte murdare sau ptate. · Dac dorii s uscai rufele în usctor, selectai viteza de centrifugare maxim recomandat pentru programul de splare. · Nu utilizai o cantitate de detergent mai mare decât cea recomandat pe ambalajul acestuia. 4.2.4 Introducerea rufelor 1. Deschidei ua. 2. Introducei rufele în main fr a le presa. 3. Împingei i închidei ua împingând-o pân când auzii un sunet de blocare. Asigurai-v c nu exist rufe prinse la u. Ua de serviciu este blocat în timpul programului de splare. Ua poate fi deschis numai dup terminarea programului. 4.2.5 Capacitatea corect Capacitatea maxim depinde de tipul de rufe, de gradul de murdrire i de programul de splare selectat. Maina regleaz automat cantitatea de ap în funcie de greutatea rufelor introduse. A AVERTISMENT: Urmrii informaiile din ,,Tabelul de programe i consumuri". Eficiena splrii va scdea dac maina este supraîncrcat. În plus, pot aprea probleme legate de vibraii i zgomot. 10 / RO Maina de splat / Manualul de utilizare 4.2.6 Utilizarea detergentului i balsamului C Când folosii detergent, balsam, apret, pigment, înlbitor, decolorant sau substane anti-calcar, citii cu atenie instruciunile de pe ambalaj i respectai cantitile recomandate. Folosii un recipient de dozare dac este disponibil. 2 31 Sertarul pentru detergent are trei compartimente: (1) pentru presplare (2) pentru splare (3) pentru balsam ( ) în plus, exist un sifon în compartimentul pentru balsam. Detergent, balsam i alte substane de curare · Adugai detergent i balsam înainte de începerea programului de splare. · În timpul ciclului de splare, nu lsai sertarul pentru detergent deschis! · Dac folosii un program fr presplare, nu punei detergent în compartimentul pentru presplare (compartimentul nr.,,1"). · Dac folosii un program cu presplare, nu punei detergent lichid în compartimentul pentru presplare (compartimentul nr.,,1"). · Nu selectai un program cu presplare dac folosii detergent în pung sau în bil. Amplasai punga sau bila cu detergent direct între rufele din main. Dac folosii detergent lichid, introducei-l în compartimentul principal de splare (compartimentul numrul ,,2"). Alegerea tipului de detergent Tipul detergentului care trebuie folosit depinde de programul de splare i de tipul i culoarea esturii. · Utilizai detergeni diferii pentru rufe colorate i rufe albe. · Splai hainele delicate numai cu detergeni speciali (detergent lichid, ampon de lân etc.) pentru haine delicate, folosind programele sugerate. · Când splai rufe i cuverturi în culori închise se recomand folosirea unui detergent lichid. · Splai rufele din lân folosind programul sugerat i un detergent special pentru lân. · Examinai descrierile programelor pentru a identifica programele sugerate pentru diverse textile. · Toate recomandrile cu privire la detergeni sunt valabile pentru intervalele de temperatur selectabile ale programelor. A ATENIE: Folosii doar detergeni pentru maini de splat. ATENIE: Nu folosii praf de spun. Dozarea detergentului Cantitatea de detergent care trebuie folosit depinde de cantitatea de rufe, de gradul de murdrire i de duritatea apei. · Nu depii cantitile recomandate pe ambalajul detergentului pentru a evita spumarea excesiv, cltirea insuficient, costurile ridicate i afectarea mediului. · Folosii mai puin detergent pentru a spla cantiti mici de rufe sau rufe cu grad redus de murdrire. Utilizarea balsamului Turnai balsamul în compartimentul pentru balsam al sertarului de detergent. · Nu depii marcajul (>max<) de pe compartimentul pentru balsam. · Dac balsamul a devenit vâscos, diluai-l cu ap înainte de a-l turna în sertarul pentru detergent. Maina de splat / Manualul de utilizare 11 / RO Utilizarea detergenilor lichizi Dac produsul conine o cup pentru detergent lichid: 2 · Punei cupa pentru detergent lichid în compartimentul nr. ,,2". · Dac detergentul lichid a devenit vâscos, diluai-l cu ap înainte de a-l turna în sertarul pentru detergent. Dac produsul este dotat cu o pies pentru detergent lichid: · Când detergentul lichid este utilizat, rotii capacul conform indicailor din imagine. Capacul va aciona ca o barier atunci când este poziionat. · Dac este necesar, curai dispozitivul cu ap atunci când este la locul su sau dac este îndeprtat. · Dac folosii detergent pudr, dispozitivul trebuie fixat în poziia superioar. Dac produsul nu conine o cup pentru detergent lichid: · Nu utilizai detergent lichid pentru presplare. · Detergentul lichid pteaz hainele atunci când este folosit funcia Pornire temporizat. Dac folosii funcia Pornire temporizat, nu folosii detergent lichid. Utilizarea detergenilor sub form de gel i tablete. · Dac detergentul gel are o consisten lichid i maina nu are o cup special pentru detergent lichid, turnai detergentul gel în compartimentul principal pentru detergent în timpul primei alimentri cu ap. Dac maina este dotat cu o cup pentru detergent lichid, turnai detergentul în cup înainte de a porni programul. · Dac detergentul gel nu are o consisten lichid sau este sub form de capsule, punei-l direct în tambur înainte de începerea splrii. · Plasai detergentul tablet în compartimentul principal de splare (compartiment nr. ,,2") sau direct în tambur înainte de splare. Utilizarea apretului · Adugai apretul lichid, apretul praf sau pigmentul în compartimentul pentru balsam. Nu folosii împreun balsam i apret în acelai ciclu de splare. tergei interiorul mainii cu o cârp umed i curat dup ce folosii apret. Utilizarea produselor anti calcar · Dac este cazul, folosii produse anti calcar destinate mainilor de splat. Folosirea înlbitorilor Adugai înlbitorul la începutul ciclului de splare selectând un program de presplare. Nu punei detergent în compartimentul pentru presplare. Ca alternativ, selectai un program cu cltire suplimentar i adugai înlbitorul în timp ce maina se alimenteaz cu ap din compartimentul pentru detergent în cursul primului ciclu de cltire. · Nu amestecai înlbitorul cu detergentul. · Folosii o cantitate mic (aprox. 50 ml.) de înlbitor i cltii bine hainele, deoarece acesta poate cauza iritarea pielii. C Consumul de ap i energie poate varia fiind supus schimbrilor de presiune, duritatea i temperatura apei, ale temperaturii ambientale, tipul i cantittii de rufe si a vitezei de centrifugare i a variaiilor de tensiune electric. În funcie de cantitatea de rufe pe care ai încrcat-o în main, poate exista o diferen de 1 1,5 ore între durata artat în Tabelul de programe i consumuri i durata efectiv a ciclului de splare. Durata va fi actualizat automat la scurt timp dup începerea splrii. Selectai întotdeauna cea mai sczut temperatur corespunztoare. Cele mai eficiente programe în ceea ce privete consumul de energie sunt, în general, cele care au performane la temperaturi sczute i durat mai mare. Zgomotul i coninutul de umezeal rmase sunt influenate de viteza de centrifugare: cu cât este mai mare viteza de centrifugare în faza de centrifugare, cu atât este mai mare zgomotul i mai sczut coninutul de umiditate rmas. Rufele dumneavoastr vor fi splate utilizând o aciune de splare viguroas i un ciclu de splare mai lung. · Sintetice Utilizai acest program pentru splarea articolelor sintetice (cmi, bluze, amestecuri sintetic/ bumbac etc.). Rufele dumneavoastr vor fi splate utilizând o aciune delicat la un ciclu de splare mai scurt comparativ cu programul Bumbac. Pentru perdele si tul, se recomand utilizarea programului Sintetice 20°C sau 40°C. · Lân / Splare manual 40° Utilizai acest program pentru a spla îmbrcmintea din lân/delicat. Rufele dumneavoastr vor fi splate utilizând o aciune de splare delicat pentru a nu deteriora îmbrcmintea. 4.3.6 Programe suplimentare Maina de splat este dotat cu programe suplimentare pentru cazuri speciale. C Programele suplimentare pot s difere în funcie de modelul mainii. · ECO 40-60 Programul Eco 40-60 este capabil s curee rufe din bumbac cu grad normal de murdrire care sunt declarate ca lavabile la 40°C sau 60°C, împreun, în acelai ciclu, i c acest program este folosit pentru a evalua respectarea legislaiei UE cu privire la ecodesign. Dei acest program dureaz mai mult decât celelalte, cu acesta economisii o cantitate semnificativ de energie i ap. Temperatura real a apei poate fi diferit de temperatura de splare declarat. În momentul când încrcai maina cu o cantitate de rufe mai mic (de ex. ½ din capacitate sau mai puin), perioadele din paii programului pot deveni în mod automat mai scurte. În acest caz, consumul de energie i ap va scdea mai mult, oferind o splare mai economic. 16 / RO Maina de splat / Manualul de utilizare · Bumbac 60° cu Presplare Selectai acest program numai pentru rufele din bumbac foarte murdare. Adugai detergent în compartimentul pentru presplare. · Splare Rapid 30° Folosii acest program pentru a spla rapid haine din bumbac cu un grad sczut de murdrire. · Cmi 40° Acest program este folosit pentru a spla împreun cmi din bumbac, materiale sintetice sau combinate. Reduce cutele. La sfâritul programului se utilizeaz abur pentru a ajuta funcia de reducere a cutelor. Profilul special de rotire i aburul utilizat la sfâritul programului reduc cutele de pe cmile dvs. Atunci când este selectat funcia splare rapid, se execut algoritmul de Pretratare. · Aplicai substana chimic de pre-tratare direct pe haine sau adugai-o împreun cu detergentul atunci când maina începe s se alimenteze cu ap din compartimentul principal pentru splare. Astfel, putei obine aceeai performan ca la splarea normal, într-o perioad de timp mult mai scurt. Durata de utilizare a cmilor dvs. va crete. · Geci cu puf 40° Utilizai acest program pentru a v spla hainele, vestele, jachetele etc. ce conin puf, a cror etichet recomand ,,splare la main". Datorit profilurilor speciale de centrifugare ale acestui program, apa ajunge în golurile de aer dintre fulgi La sfâritul programului se utilizeaz abur pentru a înmuia rufele groase precum prosoapele. · Autocurare Utilizai cu regularitate acest program (o dat la fiecare 1-2 luni) pentru a cura cuva i a întreine igiena mainii. Aburul se utilizeaz înaintea programului pentru a înmuia reziduurile din cuva de splare. Rulai programul cu maina complet goal. Pentru obinerea unor rezultate mai bune, punei pulbere anti-calcar pentru maini de splat în compartimentul pentru detergent nr. "2". Dup terminarea programului, lsai ua întredeschis astfel încât interiorul mainii s se usuce. C Acesta nu este un program de splare. Acesta este un program de întreinere. Nu rulai programul în momentul în care exist ceva în main. Dac încercai s facei acest lucru, maina va detecta existena unei încrcturi în interiorul acesteia i va abandona programul. 4.3.7 Programe speciale Pentru aplicaii specifice, selectai oricare din urmtoarele programe. · Cltire Utilizai acest program atunci când dorii s cltii sau s apretai rufele separat. · Stoarcere+Evacuare Putei utiliza aceast funcie pentru a stoarce hainele sau a evacua apa din main. Înainte de selectarea acestui program, selectai viteza de centrifugare dorit i apsai butonul Pornire / Pauz. Pentru început apa din main va fi evacuat. Apoi rufele vor fi stoarse la viteza de centrifugare setat iar apa scurs din acestea va fi evacuat. Dac dorii evacuarea apei fr centrifugarea rufelor, selectai programul Evacuare+centrifugare apoi selectai funcia Fr centrifugare cu ajutorul butonului pentru reglarea vitezei de centrifugare. Apsai butonul Pornire / Pauz. C Folosii o turaie de centrifugare mai mic pentru rufe delicate. Maina de splat / Manualul de utilizare 17 / RO 4.3.8 Selectarea vitezei Când selectai un program nou, viteza de centrifugare recomandat pentru programul selectat este afiat pe indicatorul de vitez de centrifugare. Pentru a scdea viteza de centrifugare, apsai pe butonul pentru reglarea vitezei de centrifugare. Viteza de centrifugare va scdea treptat. Apoi, în funcie de modelul produsului, opiunile ,,Amânare cltire" i ,,Fr centrifugare" vor aprea pe afiaj. Dac este selectat ,,Fr centrifugare", luminile indicatorului pentru nivelul de cltire nu se vor aprinde. Cltire prelungit Dac nu dorii s scoatei imediat rufele din main dup ce programul s-a finalizat, putei utiliza funcia de amânare a cltirii pentru a menine rufele în apa final de cltire pentru a preveni încreirea acestora în momentul când nu este ap în main. Dup acest proces, apsai butonul Pornire / Pauz, dac dorii s evacuai apa fr a centrifuga rufele. Programul se va relua i se va termina dup evacuarea apei. Pentru centrifugarea hainelor inute în ap, reglai Viteza de Centrifugare i apsai butonul Pornire / Pauz. Programul va reporni. Apa este evacuat, rufele sunt centrifugate i programul se încheie. C Dac programul nu a ajuns la etapa de centrifugare, putei modifica viteza fr a comuta maina în modul Pauz. 4.3.9 Pornire întârziat Cu ajutorul funciei de Pornire Întârziat pornirea programului poate fi amânat cu 3, 6 i 9 ore. C Nu folosii detergent lichid când folosii funcia Pornire Întârziat! Exist riscul de ptare a hainelor. 1. Deschidei ua de încrcare, introducei rufele, alimentai cu detergent etc. 2. Selectai un program de splare i viteza de centrifugare. 3. Selectai intervalul dorit apsând butonul de pornire întârziat. Dac apsai butonul o singur dat, se va selecta pornirea întârziat cu 3 ore. Atunci când acelai buton este apsat din nou, se selecteaz pornirea întârziat cu 6 ore, iar atunci când este apsat a treia oar, se selecteaz decalarea pornirii cu 9 ore. Dac apsai butonul de pornire întârziat înc o dat, funcia de pornire întârziat va fi anulat. 4 Apsai butonul Pornire / Pauz. Indicatorul luminos corespunztor intervalului de pornire întârziat anterior se închide i indicatorul luminos al urmtorului interval de pornire întârziat se aprinde la fiecare 3 ore. 5. La sfâritul numrtorii inverse, toate indicatoarele luminoase de pornire întârziat se vor închide i va porni programul selectat. C Putei comuta maina în modul pauz i aduga rufe în timpul perioadei de pornire întârziat. Modificarea intervalului de pornire întârziat Dac dorii s modificai intervalul în timpul numrtorii inverse, va trebui s anulai programul i s setai din nou timpul de întârziere. Anularea funciei de Pornire întârziat Dac dorii s anulai numrtoarea invers a pornirii întârziate i s începei programul imediat: 1. Rotii butonul de Selectare a programului pentru orice program. Astfel, funcia de Pornire întârziat va fi anulat. Indicatorul luminos Terminare/Anulare lumineaz intermitent. 2. Selectai apoi programul pe care dorii s îl pornii. 3. Apsai butonul Pornire / Pauz pentru a porni programul. 4.3.10 Pornirea programului 1. Apsai butonul Pornire / Pauz pentru a porni programul. 2. Lumina de urmrire a programului ce arat pornirea programului se va aprinde. 18 / RO Maina de splat / Manualul de utilizare 4.3.11 Blocare copii Folosii funcia Blocare pentru copii pentru a evita modificarea setrilor de ctre copii. Astfel, putei evita orice modificri aduse unui program care ruleaz. C Dac butonul de selectare a programului este rotit în timp ce funcia Blocare pentru copii este activ, mesajul ,,Blocarea pentru copii activat" se va aprinde de 3 ori. Blocarea pentru copii nu permite nici o modificare a programelor sau vitezei selectate. Chiar dac se selecteaz un alt program cu butonul de Selectare a programului, în timp ce funcia de Blocare pentru copii este activ, programul selectat anterior va continua s deruleze. Atunci când funcia de Blocare pentru copii este activ, iar maina este în funciune, putei comuta maina în modul Pauz fr a dezactiva Blocarea pentru copii, rotind butonul pentru Selectarea Programului în poziia Pornit / Oprit. Programul poate fi repornit prin rotirea butonului de selectare a programului. Pentru activarea funciei Blocare copii: Apsai i meninei apsate butoanele Vitez i Pornire întârziat timp de 3 secunde. În timp ce inei timp de 3 secunde, ,,Indicatorul LED pentru Blocarea pentru copii activat" va lumina intermitent. Putei elibera butoanele când LED-urile sunt aprinse continuu. Pentru dezactivarea funciei Blocare pentru copii: Apsai i meninei apsate butoanele de Vitez i Pornire întârziat timp de 3 secunde în timpul derulrii oricrui program. În timp ce inei timp de 3 secunde, ,,Indicatorul LED pentru Blocarea pentru copii activat" va lumina intermitent. Putei elibera butoanele când LED-ul se stinge complet. C Pe lâng metoda de mai sus, pentru a dezactiva Blocarea pentru copii, rotii butonul de Selectare a programului în poziia Pornit / Oprit, atunci când nu ruleaz nici un program, i selectai un alt program. Blocarea pentru copii nu este dezactivat dup o pan de curent sau atunci când maina este decuplat de la reea. 4.3.12 Evoluia programului Evoluia unui program în derulare poate fi urmrit cu ajutorul indicatorului de urmrire a programului. La începerea fiecrei etape a programului, indicatorul luminos aferent se aprinde i lumina pentru etapa terminat se stinge. În timpul rulrii unui program putei modifica setrile legate de vitez fr a opri derularea acestuia. În acest scop, modificarea pe care urmeaz s o facei trebuie s fie pentru o etap ulterioar etapei programului aflat în derulare. Dac modificarea nu este permis, indicatoarele corespunztoare lumineaz de 3 ori. C Dac maina nu începe ciclul de centrifugare a rufelor, este posibil s fie activ funcia Cltire prelungit sau este posibil ca sistemul automat de detecie a încrcrii dezechilibrate s fie activat datorit distribuiei inegale a rufelor în main. 4.3.13 Blocarea uii Ua de încrcare a mainii are un sistem de blocare care împiedic deschiderea acesteia în cazul în care nivelul apei este nepotrivit. Când maina este în modul Pauz, indicatorul luminos pentru ua de încrcare lumineaz intermitent. Maina verific nivelul apei din interior. Dac nivelul este corespunztor, indicatorul pentru ua de încrcare se stinge, iar ua poate fi deschis în decurs de 1-2 minute. Dac nivelul este nepotrivit, indicatorul uii de încrcare se aprinde, iar aceasta nu poate fi deschis. Dac este necesar s deschidei ua de încrcare în timp ce indicatorul acesteia este aprins, trebuie s anulai programul curent. Vezi ,,Anularea programului" 4.3.14 Modificarea setrilor dup începerea programului Trecerea mainii în modul Pauz. Pentru a comuta maina în modul Pauz în timpul unui program, apsai butonul "Pornire / Pauz". Indicatorul luminos corespunztor etapei în care a ajuns maina începe s lumineze intermitent pe indicatorul de urmrire a programului pentru a arta c maina a fost comutat în modul Pauz. În plus, când ua de încrcare poate fi deschis, indicatorul acesteia se stinge complet. Modificarea setrilor vitezei Putei modifica setrile de vitez ale programului care ruleaz la momentul respectiv. Vezi ,,Selectarea vitezei". Maina de splat / Manualul de utilizare 19 / RO C Dac nu este posibil nici o modificare, indicatorul corespunztor va lumina de 3 ori. Adugarea sau scoaterea rufelor Putei încrca / descrca rufe atunci când un program se execut în cazul în care nivelul apei este adecvat pentru a deschide ua. Pentru aceasta: 1. Apsai butonul ,,Pornire / Pauz" pentru a comuta maina în modul pauz. Indicatorul de urmrire a programului pentru etapa corespunztoare în timpul creia maina a fost comutat în modul pauz va lumina intermitent. 2. Ateptai pân când ua de încrcare poate fi deschis. 3. Deschidei ua de încrcare i adugai sau scoatei rufe. 4. Închidei ua de încrcare. 5. Efectuai modificri ale setrilor vitezei, dac este necesar. 6. Apsai butonul ,,Pornire / Pauz" pentru a porni maina. 4.3.15 Anularea programului Pentru anularea programului, rotii butonul de selectare a programului pentru a selecta un alt program. Programul anterior va fi anulat. Indicatorul luminos Terminare / Anulare va lumina intermitent pentru a indica anularea programului. Maina va opri programul când rotii butonul de selectare a programului; îns, apa din main nu este evacuat. Atunci când selectai i pornii un program nou, programul nou selectat va porni în funcie de etapa în care a fost anulat programul anterior. De exemplu, e posibil s fie adugat ap sau s continue s spele cu apa existent în main. C Unele programe pot începe prin evacuarea apei din interiorul mainii. În funcie de etapa în care ai anulat programul, poate fi necesar s adugai detergent sau balsam de rufe pentru programul nou selectat. 4.3.16 Finalizarea programului Când se termin programul, LED-ul ,,End" (Final) se aprinde pe indicatorul de urmrire a programului. 1. Ateptai pân când ,,LED-ul Blocarea uii activ" se stinge complet. 2. Pentru a opri maina, rotii butonul de selectare a programului spre poziia "Pornit / Oprit". 3. Scoatei rufele i închidei ua de încrcare. Maina este pregtit pentru urmtorul ciclu de splare. 4.3.17 Maina dumneavoastr este prevzut cu ,,Modul Pauz". Dup ce ai pornit din nou maina cu butonul de selectare a programului (prin comutarea butonului într-o poziie diferit de poziia Pornit-Oprit), dac niciun program nu este pornit sau nici o alt procedur nu este efectuat în etapa de selecie sau nici o alt aciune nu este întreprins în interval de aproximativ 2 minute dup ce programul selectat se finalizeaz, maina se va comuta automat în modul de economisire a energiei. Luminozitatea luminilor indicatoarelor va scdea. De asemenea, dac produsul dumneavoastr este prevzut cu un afiaj care arat timpul programului, acest afiaj va fi oprit complet. Dac rotii butonul de Selectare a programului sau atingei orice buton, luminile i afiajul se vor comuta la starea anterioar. Seleciile pe care le efectuai în momentul ieirii din eficiena energetic se pot schimba. Verificai corectitudinea seleciilor înainte de pornirea programului. Dac este necesar, s efectuai setrile din nou. Aceasta nu reprezint o eroare. 20 / RO Maina de splat / Manualul de utilizare 4.4 Întreinerea i curarea Prin curarea periodic a produsului se extinde durata de folosin a produsului i sunt evitate probleme frecvente. 4.4.1 Curarea sertarului de detergent Curai la intervale regulate sertarul pentru detergent (la fiecare 4-5 cicluri de splare) conform ilustraiei de mai jos, pentru a preveni acumularea reziduurilor de detergent. Ridicai partea din spate a sifonului pentru a-l scoate aa cum este ilustrat. Dac se adun prea mult amestec de ap i balsam în compartimentul pentru balsam, sifonul trebuie curat. 1 Apsai pe butonul punctat de pe sifonul din compartimentul pentru balsam i tragei înspre dumneavoastr pentru a scoate compartimentul din main. 2. Splai în chiuvet sertarul pentru detergent i sifonul cu mult ap cldu. Pentru a preveni intrarea în contact a reziduurilor cu pielea, curai-l cu o perie în timp ce purtai mnui. 3 Introducei sertarul înapoi dup curare i asigurai-v c este bine fixat. 4.4.2 Curarea uii de încrcare i a tamburului Pentru produsele cu un program de curare a cuvei, v rugm consultai manualul Utilizarea produsului - Programe. C Repetai procesul Curare tambur la fiecare 2 luni. Folosii o soluie anticalcar adecvat pentru maini de splat. Dup fiecare splare, verificai dac în tambur nu au rmas substane strine. Manufacturer shall not be held liable for damages that may arise from procedures carried out by unauthorised persons. · Prior to installation, visually check if the product has any defects on it. If so, do not have it installed. Damaged products cause risks for your safety. 4.1.1 Appropriate installation location · Place the product on a hard and level floor. Do not put it onto a carpet with high pile or other similar surfaces. · When the washing machine and dryer are placed on top of each other, their total weight when loaded amounts to 180 kilograms. Place the product on a solid and flat floor that has sufficient load carrying capacity! · Do not place the product on the power cable. · Do not install the product in the environments where the temperature falls below 0 ºC. · Leaving a gap at the sides of the machine is suggested to reduce vibration and noise · On a graduated floor, do not place the product next to the edge or on a platform. · Do not place heat sources such as Hobs, Irons, Ovens, etc. on the washing machine and do not use them on the product. 4.1.3 Removing the transportation locks 1 Loosen all bolts with an appropriate wrench until they turn freely. 2 Remove the transport safety bolts by turning them slightly. 3 Insert the plastic covers in the bag containing the user manual to the openings on the rear panel. A C CAUTION: Remove the transportation safety bolts before operating the washing machine! Otherwise, the product will be damaged. Washing Machine / User's Manual 7 / EN 4.1.4 Connecting water supply C The water supply pressure required to run the product is between 1 to 10 bars (0.1 1 MPa). It is necessary to have 10 80 liters of water flowing from the fully open tap in one minute to have your machine run smoothly. Attach a pressure reducing valve if water pressure is higher. A CAUTION: Models with a single water inlet should not be connected to the hot water tap. In such a case the laundry will get damaged or the product will switch to protection mode and will not operate. CAUTION: Do not use old or used water inlet hoses on the new product. It may cause stains on your laundry. 1 Tighten the nuts of the hose by hand. Never use a tool when tightening the nuts. 2 When hose connection is completed, check whether there is leak problems at the connection points by opening the taps fully. If any leaks occur, turn off the tap and remove the nut. Retighten the nut carefully after checking the seal. In order to prevent the water leaks and resultant damages, keep the taps closed when you do not use the product. 4.1.5 Connecting the drain hose to the drain · Attach the end of the drain hose directly to waste water drain, lavatory or bathtub. A CAUTION: Your drain house will be flooded if the hose comes out of its housing during water discharge. Moreover, there is risk of scalding due to high washing temperatures! In order to prevent such situations and make sure that the machine performs water intake and discharge processes without any problem, fix the drain hose securely. 100 cm 40 cm · Connect the drain hose to a minimum height of 40 cm and a maximum height of 100 cm. · In case the drain hose is elevated after laying it on the floor level or close to the ground (less than 40 cm above the ground), water discharge becomes more difficult and the laundry may come out excessively wet. Therefore, follow the heights described in the figure. · To prevent the waste water to go back into the machine again and to ensure easy drainage, do not immerse the end of the hose into the waste water or do not insert it into the drain for more than 15 cm. If it is too long, cut it short. · The end of the hose should not be bent, it should not be stepped on and the hose must not be pinched between the drain and the machine. · If the length of the hose is too short, use it by adding an original extension hose. Length of the hose may not be longer than 3.2 m. To avoid water leak failures, the connection between the extension hose and the drain hose of the product must be fitted well with an appropriate clamp as not to come off and leak. 8 / EN Washing Machine / User's Manual 4.1.6 Adjusting the feet A CAUTION: In order to ensure that the product operates more silently and vibration-free, it must stand level and balanced on its feet. Balance the machine by adjusting the feet. Otherwise, the product may move from its place and cause crushing and vibration problems. CAUTION: Do not use any tools to loosen the lock nuts. Otherwise, they will get damaged. 1 Loosen the lock nuts on the feet by hand. 2 Adjust the feet until the product stands in a stable and balanced way. 3. Tighten all lock nuts by hand again. 4.1.7 Electrical connection Connect the product to a grounded outlet protected by a 16 A fuse. The Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damages that will arise when the product is used without grounding in accordance with the local regulations. · Connection must comply with national regulations. · The wiring for the electrical outlet circuit must be sufficient to meet the appliance requirements. B CAUTION: Damaged power cables must be replaced by the Authorised Service Agents. 4.1.8 Initial use Before starting to use the product make sure that the preparations are made which are in line with the "Important Safety and Environment Instructions" and the instructions in the "Installation" section. To prepare the product for washing laundry, perform first operation in Drum Cleaning programme. If this program is not available in your machine, apply the method which is described in the section 4.4.2. C Use an anti-limescale suitable for the washing machines. Some water might have remained in the product due to the quality control processes in the production. It is not harmful for the product. Washing Machine / User's Manual 9 / EN 4.2 Preparation 4.2.1 Sorting the laundry * Sort laundry according to type of fabric, color, and degree of soiling and allowable water temperature. * Always obey the instructions given on the garment tags. 4.2.2 Preparing laundry for washing · Laundry items with metal attachments such as, underwired bras, belt buckles or metal buttons will damage the machine. Remove the metal pieces or wash the clothes by putting them in a laundry bag or pillow case. · Take out all substances in the pockets such as coins, pens and paper clips, and turn pockets inside out and brush. Such objects may damage the product or cause noise problem. · Put small size clothes such as infant's socks and nylon stockings in a laundry bag or pillow case. · Place curtains in without compressing them. Remove curtain attachment items. · Fasten zippers, sew loose buttons and mend rips and tears. · Wash "machine washable" or "hand washable" labeled products only with an appropriate programme. · Do not wash colours and whites together. New, dark coloured cottons release a lot of dye. Wash them separately. · Tough stains must be treated properly before washing. If unsure, check with a dry cleaner. · Only use the dyes / color changers and descaling agents which are appropriate to machine wash. Always follow the instructions on the package. · Wash trousers and delicate laundry turned inside out. · Keep laundry items made of Angora wool in the freezer for a few hours before washing. This will reduce pilling. · Laundry that are subjected to materials such as flour, lime dust, milk powder, etc. intensely must be shaken off before placing into the machine. Such dusts and powders on the laundry may build up on the inner parts of the machine in time and can cause damage. 4.2.3 Tips for energy and water saving Following information will help you use the product in an ecological and energy/water-efficient manner. · Operate the product in the highest load capacity allowed for the programme you have selected, but do not overload. See, ,,Programme and consumption table". · Observe the temperature instructions on the detergent packaging. · Wash slightly soiled laundry at low temperatures. · Use faster programmes for small quantities of lightly soiled laundry. · Do not use prewash and high temperatures for laundry that is not heavily soiled or stained. · If you plan to dry your laundry in a dryer, select the highest spin speed recommended during washing process. · Do not use more detergent than the recommended on the detergent packaging. 4.2.4 Loading the laundry 1. Open the laundry cover. 2. Put the laundry items into the machine in a loose manner. 3. Push and close the loading cover until you hear the locking sound. Ensure that no items are caught in the door. The loading door is locked while a programme is running. The door can only be opened a while after the programme comes to an end. 4.2.5 Correct load capacity The maximum load capacity depends on the type of laundry, the degree of soiling and the washing programme desired. Machine automatically adjusts the water amount according to the weight of the laundry put inside it. A WARNING: Follow the information in the "Programme and consumption table". When overloaded, machine's washing performance will drop. Moreover, noise and vibration problems may occur. 10 / EN Washing Machine / User's Manual 4.2.6 Using detergent and softener C When using detergent, softener, starch, fabric dye, bleacher and decolorant, descaling agents; read the manufacturer's instructions written on the package and follow the dosages specified. Use measuring cup if available. 2 31 The detergent drawer is composed of three compartments: (1) for prewash (2) for main wash (3) for softener ( ) in addition, there is a siphon piece in the softener compartment. A CAUTION: Use only detergents manufactured specifically for washing machines. CAUTION: Do not use soap powder. Adjusting detergent amount The amount of washing detergent to be used depends on the amount of laundry, the degree of soiling and water hardness. · Do not use amounts exceeding the dosage quantities recommended on the detergent package to avoid problems of excessive foam, poor rinsing, financial savings and finally, environmental protection. · Use lesser detergent for small amounts or lightly soiled clothes. Using softeners Pour the softener into the softener compartment of the detergent drawer. · Do not exceed the (>max<) level sign on the softener compartment. · If the softener has lost its fluidity, dilute it with water before putting it in the detergent drawer. C Additional programmes may differ according to the model of the machine. · Eco 40-60 The Eco 40-60 programme is able to clean normally soiled cotton laundry declared to be washable at 40 °C or 60 °C, together in the same cycle, and that this programme is used to assess the compliance with the EU ecodesign legislation. Although it washes longer than all other programmes, it provides high energy and water savings. Actual water temperature may be different from the stated wash temperature. When you load the machine with less laundry (e.g. ½ capacity or less), periods in programme stages may automatically get shorter. In this case, energy and water consumption will decrease more. · Bumbac 60° cu Presplare Use this programme only for heavily soiled cotton clothes. Add detergent into the prewash compartment. · Splare Rapid 30° Use this programme to wash your lightly soiled cotton clothes in a short time. 16 / EN Washing Machine / User's Manual · Cmi 40° This programme is used to wash the shirts made from cotton, synthetic and synthetic blended fabrics altogether. Before selecting this programme, select the desired spin speed and press Start / Pause button. First, the machine will drain the water inside of it. Then, it will spin the laundry with the set spin speed and drain the water coming out of them. If you wish to drain only the water without spinning your laundry, select the Pump+Spin programme and then select the No Spin function with the help of Spin Speed Adjustment button. Press Start / Pause button. C Use a lower spin speed for delicate laundries. 4.3.8 Speed selection Whenever a new programme is selected, the recommended spin speed of the selected programme is displayed on the spin speed indicator. To decrease the spin speed, press the Spin Speed Adjustment button. Spin speed decreases gradually. Then, depending on the model of the product, "Rinse Hold" and "No Spin" options appear on the display. When "No Spin" is selected, the rinse level indicator lights will not turn on. Rinse hold If you are not going to unload your clothes immediately after the programme completes, you can use rinse hold function to keep your laundry in the final rinsing water in order to prevent them from getting wrinkled when there is no water in the machine. Press Start / Pause button after this process if you want to drain the water without spinning your laundry. Programme will resume and complete after draining the water. If you want to spin the laundry held in water, adjust the Spin Speed and press Start / Pause button. The programme will resume. Water is drained, laundry is spun and the programme is completed. C If the programme has not reached the spinning step, you can change the speed without switching the machine to Pause mode. Washing Machine / User's Manual 17 / EN 4.3.9 Delayed Start With the Delayed Start function the startup of the programme may be delayed up to 3, 6 or 9 hours. C Do not use liquid detergents when you set Delayed Start! There is the risk of staining of the clothes. 1. Open the loading door, place the laundry and put detergent, etc. 2. Select a washing programme and spin speed. 3. Set the desired time by pressing the Delayed Start button. When the button is pressed once, 3 hours delayed start is selected. When the same button is pressed again, 6 hours delay is selected, and when it is pressed for the third time, 9 hours delayed start is selected. If you press the Delayed Start button once again, Delayed Start function will be canceled. 4. Press Start / Pause button. Previous delayed start time light turns off and next delayed start time light turns on after every 3 hours. 5. At the end of the countdown, all delayed start lights will turn off and the selected programme will start. C You can switch the machine to pause mode and add laundry during the delayed start period. Changing the delayed start period If you want to change the time during countdown, you will need to cancel the programme and set the delay time again. Canceling the Delayed Start function If you want to cancel the delayed start countdown and start the programme immediately: 1. Turn the Programme Selection knob to any programme. At the beginning of every programme step, the relevant indicator light will turn on and light of the completed step will turn off. You can change the speed settings without stopping the programme flow while the programme is running. To do this, the change you are going to make must be in a step after the running programme step. If the change is not compatible, relevant lights will flash for 3 times. C If the machine does not proceed to the spinning step, the Rinse Hold function might be active or the automatic unbalanced load detection system might be activated due to the unbalanced distribution of the laundry in the machine. 4.3.13 Loading door lock There is a locking system on the loading door of the machine that prevents opening of the loading door in cases when the water level is unsuitable. Loading door light will start flashing when the machine is switched to Pause mode. The machine checks the level of the water inside. If the level is suitable, the Loading Door light turns off and the loading door can be opened within 1-2 minutes. If the level is unsuitable, the Loading Door light remains on and the loading door cannot be opened. If you are obliged to open the Loading Door while the Loading Door light is on, you must cancel the current programme. See. "Cancelling the programme" 4.3.14 Changing the selections after programme has started Switching the machine to pause mode Press the Start / Pause button to switch the machine to pause mode while a programme is running. The light of the step which the machine is in starts flashing in the Programme Follow-up indicator to show that the machine has been switched to the pause mode. Press Start / Pause button to start the machine. 4.3.15 Cancelling the programme To cancel the programme, turn the Programme Selection knob to select another programme. Previous programme will be cancelled. End / Cancel light will flash continuously to notify that the programme has been canceled. Your machine will end the programme when you turn the Programme Selection knob; however, it does not drain the water inside. When you select and start a new programme, the newly selected programme will start depending on the step the previous programme was canceled in. For example, it may take in additional water or continue to wash with the water inside. C Some programmes may start by discharging the water inside the machine. Depending on the step where the programme was canceled in, you may have to put detergent and softener again for the programme you have selected anew. Your machine is ready for the next washing cycle. 4.3.17 Your machine features "Pause Mode". After you switch on your machine with the programme selection button (by switching the button to a different position than the On/Off position), if no programme is started or no other procedure is performed in the selection step or no action is taken within approx. 2 minutes after the selected programme ends, your machine will switch to energy saving mode automatically. The brightness of the indicator lights will decrease. Also, if your product has a display that shows programme time, this display will be completely turned off. If you turn the Programme Selection knob or touch any button, lights and display will switch back to previous condition. The selections which you make when exiting from the energy efficiency may change. Please check the correctness of your selections before starting the programme. If necessary, please make your settings again. This is not an error. 20 / EN Washing Machine / User's Manual 4.4 Maintenance and cleaning Service life of product extends and frequently experienced problems will be reduced if it is cleaned at regular intervals. 4.4.1 Cleaning the detergent drawer Clean the detergent drawer at regular intervals (every 4-5 washing cycles) as shown below in order to prevent accumulation of powder detergent in time. Lift the rear part of the siphon to remove it as illustrated. If more than normal amount of water and softener mixture starts to gather in the softener compartment, the siphon must be cleaned. 1 Press the dotted point on the siphon in the softener compartment and pull towards you until the compartment is removed from the machine. 2. Wash the detergent drawer and the siphon with plenty of lukewarm water in a washbasin. In order to prevent the residues to contact your skin, clean it with an appropriate brush by wearing a pair of gloves. 3 Insert the drawer back into its place after cleaning and make sure that it is seated well. 4.4.2 Cleaning the loading door and the drum For products with drum cleaning programme, please see Operating the product - Programmes. If the holes on the bellow shown in the figure is blocked, open the holes using a toothpick. Foreign metal substances will cause rust stains in the drum. Clean the stains on the drum surface by using cleaning agents for stainless steel. Never use steel wool or wire wool. These will damage the painted, chromated and plastic surfaces. 4.4.3 Cleaning the body and control panel Wipe the body of the machine with soapy water or non-corrosive mild gel detergents as necessary, and dry with a soft cloth. Use only a soft and damp cloth to clean the control panel. 4.4.4 Cleaning the water intake filters There is a filter at the end of each water intake valve at the rear of the machine and also at the end of each water intake hose where they are connected to the tap. These filters prevent foreign substances and dirt in the water to enter the washing machine. Filters should be cleaned as they do get dirty. 1. Close the taps. 2. Remove the nuts of the water intake hoses to access the filters on the water intake valves. Clean them with an appropriate brush. If the filters are too dirty, remove them from their places with a pliers and clean in this way. 3. Take out the filters on the flat ends of the water intake hoses together with the gaskets and clean thoroughly under running water. 4. Replace the seals and filters carefully and tighten their nuts by hand. Washing Machine / User's Manual 21 / EN 4.4.5 Draining remaining water and cleaning the pump filter The filter system in your machine prevents solid items such as buttons, coins and fabric fibers clogging the pump impeller during discharge of washing water. Thus, the water will be discharged without any problem and the service life of the pump will extend. If the machine fails to drain water, the pump filter is clogged. Filter must be cleaned whenever it is clogged or in every 3 months. Water must be drained off first to clean the pump filter. In addition, prior to transporting the machine (e.g., when moving to another house) and in case of freezing of the water, water may have to be drained completely. A CAUTION: Foreign substances left in the pump filter may damage your machine or may cause noise problem. CAUTION: If the product is not being used, shut the tap shut, remove mains pipe and drain the water inside the machine against any likely freezing.
