IKEA Home Smart System
The INSPELNING smart plug allows you to control connected devices remotely. When used with the DIRIGERA hub, connected devices can be managed via the IKEA Home smart app. The app also enables monitoring of the connected devices' power consumption.

Getting Started with DIRIGERA Hub
Download the IKEA Home smart app and follow the on-screen instructions to add the smart plug to your IKEA Home smart system.
Pairing a Steering Device to Your Smart Plug
If the smart plug is sold with a remote control (in the same package), they are already paired. To add more smart plugs, repeat the following steps:
- Ensure your smart plug is plugged in and the main power is turned on.
- Hold the steering device close to the smart plug you wish to add (within 5 cm).
- Press and hold the pairing button [⚙️] for at least 10 seconds. A red LED on the steering device will shine steadily. The smart plug's white light will dim and flash once, indicating successful pairing.
Up to 10 smart plugs can be paired with one steering device. Pair them one at a time. If multiple smart plugs are nearby, disconnect those already paired from the wall outlet.
Device Operation
On/Off Button
Press the On/Off button on the smart plug once to turn it on. Press it again to turn it off.
Using a Remote
Press the On button [ | ] to turn the smart plug on. Press the Off button [ 0 ] to turn the smart plug off.
Factory Reset
Push the reset button on top of the smart plug with a pointy object for at least 5 seconds until the LED starts pulsating.
Important Information
- The smart plug is for indoor use only and can be used in temperatures from 0°C to 35°C.
- Do not place the smart plug in direct sunlight or near any heat source, as it may overheat.
- Do not expose the smart plug to wet, moist, or excessively dusty environments, as this may cause damage.
- The communication range between the steering device and the receiver is measured in open air. Building materials and unit placement may affect wireless connectivity range.
Warnings
- Do not connect products in sequence.
- Do not cover the product during use.
- To disconnect power, pull the plug from the outlet.
- Use only indoors in dry areas.
- Do not overload the product.
- Discard the product if damaged.
- For adult use only. This product is not a toy and is not intended for use by children.
Care Instructions
Wipe the Smart Plug with a soft, dry cloth.
Note: Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents, as they can damage the product.
