Features
iRig PRO is designed to bring high-end, professional-quality audio recording or performing to the mobile world. iRig PRO is compatible with dynamic, ribbon and condenser microphones, as well as guitars, basses, and other instrument-level sources. It features a pristine, highdefinition, low-noise, discrete microphone-and-instrument
preamplifier, paired with a high-end 24-bit A/D converter. The result is crystal-clear signal that's free from noise and crosstalk. iRig PRO is compatible with professional condenser microphones that are powered by +48V phantom power. In addition to its Microphone/Instrument input, iRig PRO sports a convenient MIDI input port, useful to connect a standard MIDI keyboard for playing virtual instruments like SampleTank, or for controlling apps like AmpliTube with a pedal board. A preamp gain control allows you to dial in the perfect input level for your microphone or instrument, and two multicolor status LEDs give a clear indication about the correct input gain setting, phantom power status, and incoming MIDI messages. iRig PRO is designed primarily for use with microphones, guitars and basses as audio sources, but its preamp can also handle a wide range of instrument signals including acoustic instruments equipped with piezo pickups or contact transducers, synthesizers and more. iRig PRO is equipped with a professional Neutrik® Combo® input connector for a quality and secure connection that will last with time. Four cables are included: Lightning and 30-pin for connecting to iOS devices, USB for Mac and 2.5mm to MIDI for connecting controllers.
iRig PRO is bus powered, meaning it gets its power from the device it's plugged into. It also has a 9V battery compartment, but you only need a battery if you're using a condenser microphone requiring phantom power. In all other instances, iRig PRO doesn't need the battery to operate.

Installation and setup
Insert the included 9V battery in the battery compartment (5) on the bottom side of iRig PRO. Depending on the battery brand and model, it may be necessary to close the compartment to keep the battery in place. This is normal, and it doesn't interfere with the proper operation. If you don't plan on using condenser microphones that require phantom power, you can skip installing the battery. iOS Devices: 1. Connect the included 30-pin or Lightning cable to iRig
PRO Mini DIN connector (6) first.
2. Connect the 30-pin or Lightning cable to the connector on your iOS device. The Power / Audio Level LED (2) on iRig PRO will turn dark blue, meaning that iRig PRO is powered and in Standby mode.
3. Make sure phantom power is turned off by setting the Phantom Power switch (7) to the OFF position. Check that the Phantom / MIDI LED (1) on iRig PRO is off.
4. If you are using a microphone, connect it using an XLR cable, to the iRig PRO microphone input (4).
5. If you are using an instrument like a guitar or a bass, connect it using a regular ¼" plug guitar cable to the iRig PRO instrument input (4).

6. If you have not done so already, download the AmpliTube, VocaLive, iRig Recorder and SampleTank apps from the App Store (both free and full versions are available), and launch the one that best fits your music and audio needs. iRig PRO is compatible with any other app that supports digital audio input from the 30-pin or Lightning connectors. As soon as any audio app that can use digital audio input is launched and initialization is completed, the iRig PRO Power / Audio LED (2) will turn light blue.
7. Connect your headphones, guitar amplifier, mixer or powered speakers to the headphone jack on your iOS device.
Mac:
1. Connect the included USB cable to iRig PRO Mini DIN connector (6), first.
2. Connect the USB cable to a free USB port on your Mac. The Power / Audio Level LED (2) on iRig PRO will turn dark blue, meaning that iRig PRO is powered and in Standby mode.
3. Make sure phantom power is turned off by setting the Phantom Power switch (7) to the OFF position.
4. If you are using a microphone, connect it using an XLR cable, to the iRig PRO microphone input (4).
5. If you are using an instrument like a guitar or a bass, connect it using a regular ¼" guitar cable to the iRig
PRO instrument input (4). 6. Launch AmpliTube or any other Core Audio-compatible
application, and select iRig PRO as the input device from the audio preferences. The Power / Audio Level LED (2) on iRig PRO will turn bright blue. 7. Connect your headphones, guitar amplifier, mixer or powered speakers to the headphone jack on your Mac.
iRig PRO status LEDs
The two LEDs on iRig PRO (1,2) give you important information about the unit's operative status. Each status is indicated by a different color.
Power / Audio Level LED (2):
· Off: iRig PRO is not connected to any power source. · Dark blue: iRig PRO is connected and in standby mode. · Bright blue: iRig PRO is connected and active. · Green: iRig PRO is active and the input signal is low. · Orange: iRig PRO is active and the input signal is OK. · Red: iRig PRO is active and the input signal is too high.
Phantom / MIDI LED (1):
· Off: phantom power is off and iRig PRO is not receiving any MIDI message.
· Red: phantom power is on. When the 9V battery is getting low, the red LED blinks to indicate that the battery should be replaced as soon as possible.
· Blue: iRig PRO is receiving MIDI messages.
Connecting Microphones
Always connect microphones to iRig PRO by using XLR-toXLR balanced cables. This will ensure a pristine and clean
performance from your microphone with iRig PRO. Dynamic microphones: before connecting dynamic microphones make sure phantom power is turned off. Check the Phantom Power switch (7) is on the OFF position and the Phantom / MIDI LED (1) is not red. Condenser microphones: most condenser microphones require external phantom power. If phantom power is ON, switch it OFF, and then connect your microphone. Turn phantom power on only after the microphone is connected. Once it's turned on, check for the Phantom / MIDI LED (1) to become RED. If the LED doesn't turn RED, check that a working 9V battery is inserted in the iRig PRO's battery compartment on the bottom side, and that an application that is using iRig PRO is open. Phantom power will NOT turn on if iRig PRO is in Standby. Ribbon microphones: before connecting a ribbon microphone, turn off phantom power (7) and check the microphone's operating instruction manual to see if it requires it. Most ribbon microphones don't require phantom power, and some can even be damaged by it. If you're in doubt just leave it off. If the microphone won't work, check its user manual, it may need phantom power.
Connecting Instruments
Connect your guitar, bass or any other mono instrument to the instrument input (4) on iRig PRO using an ¼" plug unbalanced (TS or "mono") guitar cord.

IMPORTANT: the instrument input on iRig PRO will NOT work if a cable with balanced (TRS or "stereo") ¼" plugs is used.
Connecting MIDI keyboards or controllers
Connect the included 2.5-mm-to-MIDI cable to the iRig PRO MIDI connector (8) and to the MIDI OUT port on your keyboard or controller. Open a Core MIDI compatible application on your iOS device or on your Mac and set "iRig PRO" as the MIDI input device. When iRig PRO is receiving MIDI messages the Phantom / MIDI LED will turn blue.
Setting input gain on iRig PRO
When talking or singing into your microphone, or when playing your instrument, check the iRig PRO Power / Audio Level LED (2). · If the LED is alternating between BLUE and GREEN, or is
always GREEN, you should increase the iRig PRO input gain by rotating the GAIN control (3) clockwise. · If the LED is sometimes flashes RED, you should decrease the iRig PRO input gain by rotating the GAIN control (3) counter-clockwise. · When your gain setting is optimal, the LED should alternate between GREEN and ORANGE while you play or sing.
Troubleshooting
I connected iRig PRO to my iOS device, but the device doesn't recognize it, and none of my audio apps work with it. Remember to always connect the included 30-pin or Lightning cable to the iRig PRO before connecting it to the iOS device. Sound is distorted. You're probably overloading the input. Check that the input gain on iRig PRO is set properly. If the Power / Audio Level LED (2) is red when you play your instrument or sing or talk into a mic, decrease the input gain (3) as described in this guide. The iRig PRO Power / Audio Level LED is always dark blue and I don't get any sound. In order for iRig PRO to turn on, a Core Audio-compatible audio app must first be launched on your iOS device or Mac. · iOS: be sure you are using an app that works with audio
input from the 30-pin or Lightning dock connector. · Mac: be sure you have set "iRig PRO" as the audio or MIDI
input device on the audio app you are using.
Phantom Power doesn't turn ON. Check that you have inserted a working 9V battery in the iRig PRO's battery compartment (5). I can't get any sound from my condenser microphone. Your microphone may need phantom power. Turn phantom
power on by moving the iRig PRO switch (7) to the ON position and check that the Phantom / MIDI LED (1) has turned red. I can't get any sound from my guitar / instrument input. iRig PRO only works with ¼" MONO plugs guitar cables. Never use stereo (TRS) plugs cables as the iRig PRO instrument input will be muted.

Voyant Alimentation / Niveau Audio (2) :

Voyant Fantôme / MIDI (1) :
· Éteinte : l'alimentation fantôme est éteinte et l'iRig PRO ne reçoit pas de messages MIDI.
· Rouge : l'alimentation fantôme est allumée. Lorsque la pile 9V se décharge, le voyant rouge clignote pour indiquer que la substitution de la pile est nécessaire.
· Bleu : l'iRig PRO reçoit des messages MIDI.
Branchement de micros
Toujours brancher les micros à l'iRig PRO en utilisant des câbles XLR-XLR symétriques. Ceci garantira une prestation optimale de votre microphone avec l'iRig PRO. Micros dynamiques : avant de brancher un micro dynamique, assurez-vous que l'alimentation fantôme soit éteinte. Vérifier que l'interrupteur Alimentation Fantôme (7) est sur la position OFF et que le voyant Fantôme / MIDI n'est pas rouge. Micros à condensateurs : la plupart des micros à condensateur requièrent une alimentation fantôme externe. Si l'alimentation fantôme est allumée, éteignez-là, et ensuite branchez votre micro. Allumez l'alimentation fantôme uniquement lorsque le micro est déjà connecté. Une fois allumée, vérifiez que le voyant Fantôme / MIDI (1) devient ROUGE. Branchement d'instruments
Branchez votre guitare, basse ou autre instrument mono à l'entrée instrument (4) de l'iRig PRO à l'aide d'un câble pour guitare 6.35mm asymétrique (TS ou "mono"). IMPORTANT : l'entrée instrument de l'iRig PRO ne fonctionne pas avec les câbles symétriques 6.35mm (TRS ou stéréo).
Branchement de claviers ou contrôleurs MIDI

Résolution des problèmes
Je branche mon iRig PRO à mon dispositif iOS, mais le dispositif ne le reconnaît pas, et aucune de mes apps audio ne fonctionne avec lui. Souvenez-vous de toujours brancher le câble 30-pin ou Lightning inclus à l'iRig PRO avant de le brancher au dispositif iOS. Le son sature. Vérifiez que le gain d'entrée de l'iRig PRO soit réglé correctement. Si le voyant Alimentation / Niveau Audio (2) est rouge lorsque vous jouez, chantez ou parlez, abaissez le gain d'entrée (3) comme décrit dans ce guide. Le voyant Alimentation / Niveau Audio est toujours bleu foncé et aucun son n'est produit. Pour que l'iRig PRO s'allume, une app compatible Core Audio doit être lancée au préalable sur votre dispositif iOS ou Mac. · iOS : assurez-vous d'utiliser une app qui fonctionne avec

L'alimentation Fantôme ne s'allume pas. Assurez-vous d'avoir inséré une pile 9V en état de fonctionner dans le compartiment à pile (5) de l'iRig PRO. Je n'obtiens aucun son de mon micro à condensateur. Votre micro requiert peut-être l'alimentation fantôme. Allumez l'alimentation fantôme en plaçant l'interrupteur (7) de l'iRig PRO sur la position ON. Le voyant Alimentation Fantôme / MIDI (1) doit devenir rouge. Je n'obtiens aucun son de mon instrument. Instalación y configuración
Inserte la batería 9V incluida al compartimiento de batería (5) en la parte inferior del iRig PRO. Dependiendo de la marca o modelo de la batería, puede ser necesario cerrar el compartimiento de batería para mantener la batería en su sitio. Esto es normal, y no interfiere con la operación. Si no planea usar micrófonos condensadores que requieren potencia Phantom, puede omitir la instalación de la batería.
Dispositivos iOS: 1. Primero, conecte el cable incluido 30-pin o Lightning al

Indicadores LED del iRig PRO

Conectando Micrófonos
Siempre conecte micrófonos al iRig PRO usando cables balanceados XLR-a-XLR. Esta conexión asegurará el sonido prístino y cristalino de su micrófono con iRig PRO. Micrófonos Dinámicos: antes de conectar micrófonos dinámicos verifique que la potencia Phantom esté apagada. Verifique que el interruptor Phantom Power (7) esté en la posición OFF y la luz LED Phantom / MIDI no esté de color rojo. Micrófonos Condensadores: la mayoría de los micrófonos condensadores requieren potencia Phantom. Si la potencia Phantom está encendida, apáguela, y conecte su micrófono. Encienda la potencia Phantom sólo después de conectar el micrófono. Una vez encendido, verifique que la luz LED Phantom / MIDI se muestre de color ROJO. Conectando Instrumentos
Conecte su guitarra, bajo o cualquier otro instrumento monaural a la entrada de instrumentos (4) del iRig PRO usando un cable de guitarra no balanceado de 6.35mm. IMPORTANTE: la entrada de instrumento del iRig PRO NO funcionará si se utiliza un cable de 6.35mm balanceado (TRS o "estéreo").
Conectando Teclados o Controladores MIDI
Conecte el cable incluido 2.5mm-a-MIDI al conector MIDI del iRig PRO (8) y al conector MIDI OUT de su teclado o controlador. Abra una aplicación compatible con Core MIDI en su dispositivo iOS o su Mac y seleccione "iRig PRO" como el dispositivo de entrada MIDI. Cuando iRig PRO recibe mensajes MIDI la luz LED Phantom / MIDI se encenderá de color azul.
Configurando la ganancia de entrada del iRig PRO
Cuando cante o hable con su micrófono, o cuando toque su instrumento, fíjese en la luz LED de nivel de Audio / Potencia (2).
· Si la luz LED alterna entre AZUL y VERDE, o si se mantiene en VERDE, se debe aumentar la ganancia de entrada del iRig PRO rotando el control GAIN (3) hacia la derecha.

Resolución de Problemas
Conecté el iRig PRO a mi dispositivo iOS, pero el dispositivo no lo reconoce, y ninguno de mis apps de audio funcionan con él. Recuerde siempre conectar el cable incluido 30-pin o Lightning al iRig PRO antes de conectarlo al dispositivo iOS. El sonido está distorsionado. La entrada de audio probablemente está muy alta. Verifique que la ganancia de entrada del iRig PRO se haya ajustado correctamente. Si la luz LED de Nivel de Potencia / Audio (2) se muestra en color rojo cuando toca su instrumento o canta o habla con su micrófono, disminuya la entrada de ganancia (3) como descrito en esta guía. La luz LED de Nivel de Potencia / Audio siempre se muestra de color azul oscuro y no se escucha sonido. Para activar iRig PRO, se debe usar una aplicación compatible con Core Audio en su dispositivo iOS o Mac.

Installazione ed impostazione

LEDs
I due LEDs su iRig PRO (1,2) danno importanti informazioni sullo stato operativo dell'unità. Ogni stato è indicato da un colore differente.
LED Power / Audio Level (2):
· Spento: iRig PRO non è connesso ad alcuna sorgente di alimentazione.
· Blu tenue: iRig PRO è connesso ed è in modalità stand-by. · Blu chiaro: iRig PRO è connesso ed è attivo. · Verde: iRig PRO è attivo ed il segnale d'ingresso è basso. · Arancione: iRig PRO è attivo ed il segnale d'ingresso è ok. · Rosso: iRig PRO è attivo ed il segnale d'ingresso è troppo alto.
LED Phantom / MIDI (1):
· Spento: l'alimentazione Phantom è spenta, ed iRig PRO non sta ricevendo alcun messaggio MIDI.
· Rosso: l'alimentazione Phantom è accesa. Quando la batteria 9V comincia a scaricarsi il LED rosso comincia a lampeggiare, indicando che la batteria andrebbe sostituita il più presto possibile.
· Blu: iRig PRO sta ricevendo messaggi MIDI.
Connessione di Microfoni
Connetti sempre i microfoni ad iRig PRO utilizzando cavi XLR-XLR bilanciati. Questo assicurerà una prestazione ottimale dal tuo microfono con iRig PRO. Microfoni dinamici: prima di collegare microfoni dinamici ad iRig PRO, assicurati che l'alimentazione Phantom sia spenta. Controlla che l'interruttore Phantom Power (7) sia sulla posizione OFF e che il LED Phantom/MIDI sia spento. Microfoni a condensatore: la maggior parte dei microfoni a condensatore richiede l'alimentazione Phantom per funzionare. Se l'alimentazione Phantom è ON, spegnila prima di collegare il microfono. Dopo aver collegato il microfono, accendi l'alimentazione Phantom e controlla che il LED Phantom/MIDI (1) sia rosso. Se il LED non si accende controlla di aver inserito una batteria 9V carica nell'apposito comparto, e che un'applicazione che faccia uso di iRig PRO sia aperta. L'alimentazione Phantom non si accende quando iRig PRO è in modalità stand-by. Microfoni ribbon: prima di collegare microfoni ribbon (a nastro), spegni l'alimentazione Phantom (7) e controlla il manuale di istruzioni del microfono. La maggior parte dei microfoni ribbon non richiede alimentazione Phantom, ed alcuni potrebbero anche venir danneggiati da essa. Nel dubbio, non accendere l'alimentazione Phantom, e se il microfono non dovesse funzionare con iRig PRO, controlla il manuale, potrebbe richiedere Phantom.

Connessione di Strumenti
Connetti la tua chitarra, il tuo basso o qualunque altro strumento mono all'ingresso Instrument (4) di iRig PRO utilizzando un normale cavo da chitarra jack 6.3 mm sbilanciato (TS o "mono"). IMPORTANTE: l'ingresso Instrument su iRig PRO NON funziona se si utilizza un cavo jack bilanciato (TRS o "STEREO").
Connessione di tastiere MIDI o controllers
Connetti il cavo (incluso) jack 2.5mm MIDI al MIDI IN di iRig PRO (8) ed alla porta MIDI OUT della tua tastiera o del tuo controller. Apri un'applicazione compatibile Core MIDI sul tuo dispositivo iOS o sul tuo Mac e seleziona "iRig PRO" come dispositivo di ingresso MIDI. Quando iRig PRO riceve dati MIDI validi il LED Phantom / MIDI si illumina di luce blu.
Impostazione del gain d'ingresso su iRig PRO
Mentre parli o canti al microfono o mentre suoni il tuo strumento, controlla il LED Power / Livello Audio su iRig PRO (2).
· Se il LED alterna il suo colore fra il BLU e il VERDE oppure è continuativamente VERDE, occorre aumentare il gain d'ingresso (3), ruotando il controllo in senso orario.
· Se il LED talvolta è ROSSO occorre diminuire il gain d'ingresso (3) ruotando il controllo in senso antiorario.
· Quando il gain è regolato in maniera ottimale il LED dovrebbe alternare fra VERDE e ARANCIONE mentre suoni, parli o canti.
Risoluzione dei problemi
Nonostante lo abbia connesso correttamente al dispositivo iOS, iRig PRO non viene riconosciuto da nessuna delle mie app audio. Ricorda di collegare sempre il cavo 30-pin o Lightning ad iRig PRO per primo e poi al dispositivo iOS. Il suono è distorto. Controlla che il controllo di gain su iRig PRO sia regolato correttamente. Se il LED Power / Livello Audio è rosso occorre diminuire il gain d'ingresso (3) come spiegato su questa guida. Il LED Power / Livello audio su iRig PRO è sempre blue tenue e non ottengo nessun suono. Per far si che iRig PRO si attivi è necessario che almeno un'app compatibile con Core Audio sia aperta su tuo dispositivo iOS o sul Mac. · iOS: accertati di utilizzare un'app che funzioni con
l'ingresso audio digitale dal connettore 30-pin o dal
connettore Lightning. · Mac: accertati che iRig HD sia stato selezionato come
dispositivo audio d'ingresso sull'applicazione che stai utilizzando.
L'alimentazione Phantom non si accende. Controlla di aver inserito una batteria 9V carica nell'apposito comparto di iRig PRO(5). Non riesco ad avere alcun suono dal mio microfono a condensatore. Il microfono richiede alimentazione Phantom. Accendi l'alimentazione Phantom portando l'interruttore (7) sulla posizione ON e controlla che il LED Phantom / MIDI sia rosso. Non riesco ad avere alcun suono dal mio strumento. L'ingresso strumento di iRig PRO funziona solo con cavi sbilanciati da 6.3mm (mono). L'ingresso strumento non funzionerà utilizzando cavi stereo / TRS / bilanciati.

Virtuelle Instrumente wie SampleTank lassen sich somit leicht einspielen oder Sie steuern einfach mit einem Pedalboard komfortabel gewünschte Effektparameter in Apps wie AmpliTube. Installation und Einstellungen
Setzen Sie die beigelegte 9V-Batterie in das Batteriefach (5) an der Unterseite des iRig PRO ein. Abhängig vom BatterieHersteller und -Modell müssen Sie das Batteriefach für einen korrekten Sitz der Batterie gegebenenfalls schließen. Dies ist normal und beeinträchtigt den normalen Betrieb nicht. Falls Sie nicht beabsichtigen, ein Kondensatormikrofon an das iRig PRO anzuschließen, benötigen Sie keine Batterie. iOS-Geräte: 1. Schließen Sie zuerst das beigelegte 30-Pin- oder das
Lightning-Kabel an den Mini DIN-Port Ihres iRig PRO an. 2. Schließen Sie dann das 30-Pin- oder Lightning-Kabel an Ihr

Mac:
1. Verbinden Sie zuerst das beigelegte USB-MiniDIN- Kabel mit dem iRig PRO MiniDIN-Anschluss(6).
2. Schließen Sie das USB-MiniDIN- Kabel an einen freien USB-Port Ihres Mac an. Die Power / Audio Level LED (2) am iRig PRO leuchtet tiefblau - Ihr iRig PRO ist damit eingeschaltet und befindet sich im Standby-Mode.
3. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Schalter für die Phantomspeisung (7) auf der Position OFF einrastet, die Phantom / MIDI LED (1) am iRig PRO sollte nicht aufleuchten.
4. Zum Anschluss eines Mikrofons via XLR-Kabel nutzen Sie den Mikrofoneingang (4) am iRig PRO.
5. Das Klinkenkabel einer Gitarre, eines Basses oder eines anderen Instrumentes verbinden Sie mit dem Klinkeneingang der XLR-Kombibuchse am iRig PRO (4).
6. Starten Sie AmpliTube oder eine beliebige Core Audiokompatible Anwendung, die Ihren Anforderungen entspricht. Wählen Sie iRig PRO als Eingangsgerät in Audio Voreinstellungen aus. Sobald eine geeignete AudioAnwendung gestartet und initialisiert wurde leuchtet die blaue Power / Audio LED (2) blau auf.
7. Schließen Sie an den Kopfhörerausgang Ihres Ihres Macs einen Kopfhörer, Ihren Gitarrenverstärker, Mixer oder Aktivboxen an.
Die Status-LEDs am iRig PRO
Die zwei Status-LEDs (1,2) am iRig PRO vermitteln Ihnen wichtige Informationen über den aktuellen Betriebszustand. Dieser ist jeweils durch eine entsprechende LED-Farbe angezeigt.
Power / Audio Level LED (2):
· Aus: iRig PRO ist an keine Spannungsquelle angeschlossen. · Dunkelblau: iRig PRO ist angeschlossen und im Standby-
Mode. · Hellblau: iRig PRO ist angeschlossen and aktiv. · Grün: iRig PRO ist aktiv, das Eingangssignal ist zu gering. · Orange: iRig PRO ist aktiv, das Eingangssignal ist OK. · Rot: iRig PRO ist aktiv, das Eingangssignal ist zu hoch.
Phantom / MIDI LED (1):
· Aus: Phantomspeisung ist ausgeschaltet und iRig PRO empfängt keine MIDI-Message.
· Rot: Phantomspeisung ist aktiviert. Bei nachlassender Batterieleistung blinkt die rote LED. Sie sollten die 9V-Batterie sofort auswechseln.
· Blau: iRig PRO empfängt MIDI-Messages.
Anschluss eines Mikrofons
Schließen Sie Ihr Mikrofon zur Gewährleistung einer bestmöglichen Übertragung stets über ein symmetrisches XLRKabel an das iRig PRO an.
Dynamisches Mikrofon: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Phantomspeisung ausgeschaltet ist. Der Schalter Phantom Power (7) muss sich in der Position OFF befinden und die Phantom / MIDI LED (1) darf nicht rot aufleuchten. Kondensatormikrofon: Die meisten Kondensatormikrofone benötigen eine externe Speisspannung. Falls die Phantomspeisung eingeschaltet ist schalten Sie diese zum Verkabeln des Kondensatormikrofons zunächst aus. Aktivieren Sie die Phantomspeisung nur bei angeschlossenem Kondensatormikrofon. Die Phantom / MIDI LED (1) sollte nun rot aufleuchten. Falls dies nicht der Fall sein sollte überprüfen Sie den ordnungsgemäßen Sitz der 9V-Batterie im Batteriefach an der Unterseite des iRig PRO. Weiterhin muss eine Audio-App (Programm) geöffnet sein welche das iRig PRO unterstützt. Im Standby-Mode des iRig PRO leuchtet die Phantom-LED nicht. Bändchenmikrofon: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Phantomspeisung (7) vor dem Verkabeln eines Bändchenmikrofons ausgeschaltet ist. Ob Ihr Bändchenmikrofon eine Phantomspeisung erfordert erfahren Sie im Bedienhandbuch des Mikrofons. Die meisten Bändchenmikrofone benötigen keine Phantomspeisung, einige werden sogar durch das Anliegen einer Phantomspeisung beschädigt. Schalten Sie die Phantomspeisung im Zweifelsfall daher zunächst aus. Falls das Mikrofon nicht funktioniert informieren Sie sich in der Bedienungsanleitung ob es eine Phantomspeisung benötigt.
Anschluss von Instrumenten
Schließen Sie Gitarren, Bässe oder andere Mono-Instrumente an den Instrumenten-Eingang (4) des iRig PRO mittels eines unsymmetrischen Klinkenkabels an. WICHTIG: Der Instrumenten-Eingang des iRig PRO ist bei der

Anschluss von MIDI-Keyboards oder MIDIControllern
Schließen Sie das beigelegte Miniklinke/MIDI-Kabel an den MIDI-Port (8) vom iRig PRO und an Ihrem Keyboard/Controller an die MIDI-OUT-Buchse an. Öffnen Sie in Ihrem iOS-Gerät eine Core-MIDI-Anwendung (App) oder selektieren Sie in Ihrem Mac das "iRig PRO" als MIDI-Eingangsgerät. Wenn das iRig PRO MIDI-Messages empfängt leuchtet die Phantom / MIDI LED blau.
Einstellen der Eingangsempfindlichkeit am iRig PRO
Beim Sprechen/Singen via Mikrofon oder beim Spielen eines Instrumentes via Audioeingang müssen Sie stets den Audiopegel mit Hilfe der Power / Audio Level LED (2) am iRig PRO kontrollieren. · Wenn die LED zwischen BLAU und GRÜN wechselt
oder permanent GRÜN leuchtet müssen Sie die Eingangsempfindlichkeit am iRig PRO durch Drehen des GAIN-Reglers (3) in Uhrzeigerrichtung erhöhen. · Wenn die LED ROT aufleuchtet müssen Sie die Eingangsempfindlichkeit am iRig PRO durch Drehen des GAIN-Reglers (3) entgegen der Uhrzeigerrichtung verringern. · Eine optimale Einstellung der Eingangsempfindlichkeit ist
erreicht wenn die LED beim Singen oder Spielen zwischen GRÜN und ORANGE wechselt.
Fehlerbehebung
Mein iOS-Gerät ist an das iRig PRO angeschlossen. Es wird aber nicht erkannt und meine Audio-Apps lassen sich mit dem iRig PRO nicht verwenden. Das beigelegte 30-Pin bzw. Lightning-Kabel muss zuerst am iRig PRO angeschlossen sein bevor Sie es mit dem iOS-Gerät verbinden. Der Klang ist verzerrt. Offensichtlich übersteuern Sie den Eingang. Überprüfen Sie den Eingangspegel mittels der Power / Audio Level LED (2) am iRig PRO. Falls diese beim Singen oder Spielen rot aufleuchtet verringern sie die Eingangsempfindlichkeit mit dem Regler INPUT GAIN (3) wie in dieser Dokumentation beschrieben. Die Power / Audio Level LED am iRig PRO leuchtet blau und es ist kein Sound zu hören. Um das iRig PRO einzuschalten muss in Ihrem iOS-Gerät oder Mac eine Core Audio-kompatible Audio-App gestartet werden. · iOS: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die von Ihnen verwendete
Audio-App den 30-pin oder Lightning-Anschluss unterstützt. · Mac: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie in Ihrer Anwendung das
"iRig PRO" als Audio- oder MIDI-Eingangsgerät ausgewählt haben.
Die Phantomspeisung lässt sich nicht aktivieren. Überprüfen Sie, dass die 9V-Batterie korrekt im Batteriefach (5) eingesetzt ist und diese eine ausreichende Spannung besitzt.
Ich kann mit einem Kondensatormikrofon keinen Sound hören. Ihr Kondensatormikrofon könnte für den Betrieb eine Phantomspeisung benötigen. Setzen Sie den Schalter (7) auf die Position +48V, die Phantom / MIDI LED (1) sollte jetzt rot aufleuchten. Es ist kein Sound von meiner Gitarre bzw. meinem Instrument zu hören. iRig PRO lässt sich ausschließlich mit Mono-Gitarrenkabeln betreiben. Verwenden Sie keine Stereo- bzw. symmetrischen Klinkenkabel. Andernfalls wird der Instrumenteneingang des iRig PRO gemutet.
