When selected, the set temperature increases by 1°C per hour for the first 2 hours. This function saves energy and improves night time comfort.
Refrigerant Leakage Detection
If refrigerant leakage is detected, the indoor unit will display 'EC' code.
Louvre Angle Memory Function
The horizontal louver angle is memorized and returns to the last selected position. If it exceeds a safety angle, it will memorize the boundary of that angle.
SELF CLEAN Function
This function dries the indoor heat exchanger to prevent mold growth. The indoor fan runs at low speed for 30 minutes, then the unit turns off automatically.
Note:
- Self-clean function does not replace filter cleaning. Filters must be cleaned every 3 months.
- This function is only available in COOLING or DRY mode.
- It is recommended to run the unit under cooling for 30 minutes before activating self-clean.
- Pressing SELF CLEAN or ON/OFF again during the cycle cancels the operation.
Auto-restart Function
In case of power interruption, the air conditioner will automatically restart and perform the previous operation when power is restored.
Mute Operation
Pressing the LED button turns off the indoor display and the buzzer, creating a comfortable and quiet environment.
Airflow Directional Control
The direction of airflow can be adjusted for maximum comfort.
Adjusting Vertical Air Flow (Up/Down)
Vertical airflow is controlled by the remote control. It can be set to a fixed direction or automatic swing.
Adjusting Horizontal Air Flow (Left/Right)
Horizontal airflow can be directed left to right by manually adjusting the deflector rod.
Important: Do not put fingers into the blower and suction side; the high-speed fan may cause injury.
Caution:
- Do not operate for long periods with downward airflow in cooling or dehumidifying mode to prevent condensation and moisture drip.
- After a quick restart, the horizontal louver may remain static for approximately 10 seconds.
- The open angle of the horizontal louver should not be too small to avoid reduced cooling performance.
- Do not move the vertical louvers manually; this may cause them to go out of sync. If this happens, turn off the unit, wait a few seconds, then restart.
Optimal Operation
- Adjust airflow direction correctly, not towards people.
- Adjust temperature for moderate comfort levels; excessively low temperatures waste energy.
- Keep windows and doors closed for better performance.
- Limit energy usage by using the TIMER function.
- Do not place objects near air inlets or outlets, as this can reduce efficiency or cause the unit to stop.
- Inspect and clean filters every 3 months or as required. Ensure filters are correctly inserted.
Operating Temperature
Location | Temperature Range |
---|---|
Room | 17°C - 32°C |
Outside | 0°C - 50°C |
The air conditioner temperature can be set between 17°C to 30°C.
Note:
- Optimum performance is achieved within these operating temperatures. Using the unit outside these conditions may activate safety protection features.
- If the air conditioner runs for a long time in cooling mode with high humidity (over 80%), condensed water may drip. Set the vertical air flow louvre to its maximum angle and use HIGH fan mode.
Manual Operation
Caution: This switch is for testing purposes only. Do not use it unless necessary. To restore remote control operation, use the remote control directly.
The unit has a manual switch accessible by opening the front panel. This allows operation if the remote control fails.
Note: The unit must be turned off before operating the manual control. If the unit is operational, continue pressing the manual control button until the unit is off.
- Open the front panel until it locks.
- One press of the manual control switch initiates forced AUTO operation.
- Pressing the switch twice within 5 seconds initiates forced COOL mode ('FC' displayed). After 30 minutes in forced COOL mode, the unit switches to AUTO mode (display shows '24').
- Close the panel after manual operation has started.
- Press the button again while the unit is running to turn it off.
Care and Maintenance
Before Maintenance

- Never use water hotter than 40°C to clean the front panel, as it could cause deformation or discoloration.
Cleaning the Unit
Wipe the unit with a soft dry cloth. If very dirty, use a cloth soaked in warm water.
Cleaning the Air Filter and Air Freshening Filter
A clogged air filter reduces efficiency. Clean the filter every 3 months or as required.
- Open the front panel by lifting both ends. It should prop itself open. Some models may require suspension bars.
- Use the tab to move the filter up slightly, then draw downwards to extract it.
- Unclip the small air freshening filter from the large air filter. Clean it with a vacuum and replace occasionally.
- Clean the large air filter with soapy water. Rinse with fresh water, shake off excess water, and dry in a cool place. Replace occasionally.
- After filters are dry, refit the small filters onto the large air filter.
- Re-insert the filters back into the unit in reverse order.
- Close the front panel, ensuring buckles are fully fitted.
Preparation for Extended Non-Operation
If the unit will not be used for a long time:
- Clean the indoor unit and filters.
- Operate the fan for about half a day to dry the inside of the unit.
- Stop the air conditioner and disconnect power.
- Remove batteries from the remote controller. The outdoor unit requires periodic maintenance; contact your dealer or service provider.
Pre-season Inspection
- Check for damaged or disconnected wires.
- Clean the indoor unit and filters.
- Check for water or oil leaks.
- Ensure the outdoor unit is clear of leaves, rubbish, and other objects that may block air inlets or outlets.
- Check remote control batteries and replace if necessary.
Warning:
- Do not touch metal parts when removing filters; sharp metal edges can cause injury.
- Do not use water to clean inside the air conditioner; this can destroy insulation and cause electric shock.
- Ensure power and circuit breaker are turned off before cleaning.
- Do not wash air filters with hot water (over 40°C). Shake off moisture completely and dry in the shade. Do not expose to direct sun, as it may shrink.
