Getting Started
Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB cable. Connect the cable to the charging port on the monitor and a USB power source. A charging indicator will show the charging status.
Connecting to the App
Download the 'Tesla Health' app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android). Follow the in-app instructions to pair your blood pressure monitor via Bluetooth. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
How to Use
Preparing for Measurement
- Sit quietly for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement.
- Avoid eating, drinking alcohol, smoking, or exercising for 30 minutes prior to measurement.
- Ensure your bladder is empty.
- Rest in a comfortable position with your back supported and feet flat on the floor.
- Remove any tight clothing from your upper arm.
Applying the Cuff
Wrap the arm cuff snugly around your left upper arm, about 1-2 cm (0.5-1 inch) above the elbow. The tube should run down the center of your arm. Ensure the cuff is not too tight or too loose.
Taking a Measurement
- Press the Power button [▶️]. The device will perform a self-check.
- Once the screen displays '00', press the Start/Stop button [▶️] to begin the measurement.
- Remain still and do not speak during the measurement.
- The results (Systolic, Diastolic, and Pulse Rate) will be displayed on the screen.
- The data will automatically sync to the Tesla Health app if connected.
- Press the Power button [▶️] to turn off the device, or it will turn off automatically after a period of inactivity.
Understanding Your Results
The monitor displays systolic pressure (the higher number), diastolic pressure (the lower number), and pulse rate. Consult the Tesla Health app or a healthcare professional for interpretation of your readings.
Maintenance and Care
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
- Store the monitor in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Ensure the cuff is clean and free from damage.
