2. Device Installation

2.1 Connect the HDMI plug of adapter to the HDMI input on the device suitabling digital HDMI signal (PC, laptop, DVD, digital set-top box, PS3, XBOX, etc.).

2.2 Connect the VGA input of adapter using an appropriate VGA cable male (not included) to the VGA port on the device receiving analog video signal (monitor or projector).

2.3 Connect the adapter 3,5mm input (marked LINE on the housing) using the supplied audio cable into the 3,5mm input (line-in) on the device receiving audio signal (monitor, amplifier, receiver, etc.)

2.4 After connecting all the cables, running all mentioned devices and routing incoming and outgoing signals to the appropriate inputs/outputs the adapter will begin normal operation.

2.5 For proper operation of the adapter it does not require additional power.

2.6 Note. Some devices (such as some digital decoders) have power supply with low current efficiency on the HDMI output. In extreme cases this can cause difficulties or block adapter's working.

Important! After switching on the devices connected with CL-23 adapter, there may be used other resolution than previously used by the user. If you want to change this resolution you should open advanced setting of the device emitting the signal and choose the needed resolution.

3. Safety Conditions

• Use the product in accordance with its intended use, as improper use may damage the product.
• Do not expose the device to moisture, heat or sunlight, do not use the product in a dusty environment.
• The device should be cleaned only with a dry cloth.
• Independent repairs and modification result automatic loss of the warranty.
• Hitting or dropping may damage the product.

Warranty

Information on the utilization of electrical and electronic equipment

This symbol indicates that electrical appliances should not be discarded with other household waste. Used equipment should be handed over to a local collection point for this type of waste or to a recycling center. Waste electrical equipment may contain hazardous substances (e.g. mercury, lead, cadmium, chromium, phthalates) which can get into air, soil and groundwater when leaking from used appliances. Environmental pollution with these substances leads to their bioaccumulation, causing lesion of disease in living organisms, which would pose a risk to human and animal health or life. Households may contribute to environmental protection by proper waste collection. In such way, hazardous substances from the equipment are neutralized and valuable secondary raw materials are reused for production of new equipment.
