1. Overview
This section provides a general overview of the Innosilicon A9-ZMASTER miner.

Miner Information Label: Displays voltage input (200-240V AC), default IP (DHCP), default user (admin), and default password (admin). Includes reset button instructions (press for 5-10 seconds to restore to default IP). Certifications: FC, CE, ROHS.
2. Assemble the Miner
2.1 Check the Miner Before Power On
- Verify the warranty sticker is intact, especially on the hashboards' PSU port side. If damaged, contact After-sales.
- Gently shake the miner to listen for any loose metal parts. If you hear rattling, contact After-sales.
- Ensure all fans are functioning correctly. If fans are broken, contact After-sales.
2.2 Connect the PSU
Each hash board requires 2 PSU cables. The controller requires 1 PSU cable. Refer to the image for connection details.
- Light constantly: Hashboard is working well.
- Blinking: Hashboard is overheating; check fans and room temperature.
- Off: Hashboard is not working.
2.3 Connect the Ethernet Cable
Insert one end of the Ethernet cable into your router and the other end into the designated slot on the miner.
- Fault LED light: Indicates a bad network connection.
- Normal LED: Solid light indicates Static IP mode; Blinking light indicates DHCP mode.
- Press for 1-4 seconds: Shows the miner's IP in the "Set IP" tool and allows changing the miner to Static IP mode, setting the IP within a specified range.
- Press for 4-15 seconds: Resets the miner to DHCP mode and restores default settings.
- Press for more than 20 seconds: Switches between Dynamic (DHCP) and Static IP modes.
3. Operate the Miner
3.1 Enter the Miner Console
The miner defaults to DHCP mode (indicated by a blinking Normal LED on the control board). Find the miner's IP address via your router or an IP scanner. Enter this IP address into your web browser (Chrome is recommended) and press Enter to access the console.
3.2 Set Up the Pool
Note: It is recommended not to use the default pool settings.
- URL: Ensure the URL is prefixed with "stratum+tcp://". Pool URLs can be found on the respective mining pool websites.
- Worker: Your mining worker name.
- Password: Your mining worker password.
3.3 Check the Hashrate of the Miner
After successfully setting up the mining pool, the miner will begin mining. You can monitor its performance through the console.
3.4 Network Configuration
This section allows you to configure the miner's network settings.
- To use a static IP address, unselect the DHCP option.
- Fields available for configuration include: IP Address, Netmask, Gateway, DNS 1, DNS 2, and Name Server 2.
3.5 Other Pages
3.5.1 Overview
- Miner Status: Version, Controller Version, MAC Address, Build Date, Platform Version.
- System: Uptime, load average, Memory Used, Memory Free, Cached Used, Cached Free (with percentage indicators).
- Network Status: Type (DHCP/Static), IP, Netmask, Gateway, DNS 1, Name Server 2.
3.5.2 Upgrade
This section is for updating the miner's firmware.
- Upgrade Instructions:
- The update.swu file must be obtained from the Innosilicon support center.
- Do not power off or refresh the page during the upgrade process.
- All existing settings will be preserved.
- Upgrade Process:
- Click "select the firmware file" to choose the update.swu file.
- Click "Upgrade Now" to start the update.
- Latest Firmware: Check for available firmware updates by clicking "Check Now".
3.5.3 Modify the Password
You can change the administrator password for the miner's web interface.
3.5.4 Reboot
This function allows you to restart the miner.
3.5.5 Factory Reset
This function resets the miner to its factory default settings.
