(I) Mounting. To protect the stylos rrom damage durq rnountlrC relnOl/e the stylus
assembly from the cartridge body (see Fig.3). Note.~ Isslmpler Ifconnecting leads are attached before screwing cartridge into heah:ibnll, Thiscartridge has standard 12.7mm fixing centres. Scr9Ws are provided and these should be used to fasten the cartridge rigidly tothe headshell. Do not <M!rtigtlten these ieriWIMount the cartridge so that when It Is seen from the front and the side its top surface is parattel to the record (see Fig. 1).
The use of· small mirror wm help aligning the
cartridge com,ctty. Place the mirror on the tumtable llfld rest tho stylus on It. Now make
the necessary ~stment.a to the arm or
heac:lshell to ensure that the cartridge Is pa,-.llel wi1h the record aurface and not ttlted.
(2) Connections. The contact pins are colour coded according to the lntemational Standard Colour Code. Comect the four pickup leads to the oorreapondlng pins on the cartridge
(seef"ig.2).
Warning. Under no cirt:umstancea should the helldsnell lead8 be soldered direct to the cor«act pins on the cartrldp. Heat applied to the contact pins wtH cause damage to the
internal coonec:tions..
(3) Playing Weight. The correct playingweight is 1.75 g. Do not forget to rernc,ye the stylos

(4) Matching. Cartridge load should be 4 7k ohms and the total capecltance In parallel
with ttus lncluooi& arm lead and amplifier
capacitance should not exceed 200pfs. If other Y8lues of load resistance and capacitance are used the response will depart

Stylus replacement.The stylus is easily
removed. Grasp the stylus hooslni and
withdraw gently {see Flg.3). To replace the
stylus grasp the stylus
