Braun PureFlavor KF 5650 Coffee Maker Quick Start Guide
This guide provides instructions for setting up and operating your Braun PureFlavor KF 5650 coffee maker.
Before First Use
Run the coffee maker through a complete brew cycle without ground coffee. Use a full carafe (14 cups) of fresh cold water.

1. Installing the charcoal water filter

4. Making Coffee

6. Barista Recipe for Over-Ice Coffee
Place 7 cups of water in the water tank and 14 level scoops of coffee in the basket. For optimal results, add a paper filter. Start brewing by clicking “over ice” and “bold”. Let brew completely. Add ice to the carafe until the 10 cup mark, stir to melt the ice, then add more ice up to the 14 cup mark to chill the coffee.
