Product Overview
The King KRF-HEAT-KIT is a 24-volt RF wireless thermostat platform designed to control electric resistance heaters, including both fan-driven and baseboard models. It simplifies installation by eliminating the need to run new wires through walls.
The kit comprises a 7-day programmable thermostat (KRFTP-B) that communicates wirelessly with a 20A 120/240V relay (KRFLR-120/240V) wired to the heating unit.
For enhanced flexibility, the system supports optional RF sensors to manage operation based on room occupancy, open windows/doors, or a master setback switch for the entire building.

System Diagram Description
The system diagram illustrates the wireless connection between the King KRFTP-B thermostat and the KRFLR-120/240V relay. The relay is connected to a 120/208/240V PAW Heater and can handle up to 20A. The thermostat, powered by 24V DC or AA batteries, communicates with the relay using RF 915 MHz signals.
Optional RF accessories enhance the system's capabilities:
- KRF-PIR-SENSOR: An RF battery-powered Occupancy PIR Sensor that enables automatic temperature setback when a room is unoccupied. Setback options range from 44°F to 65°F.
- KRF-WINDOW-SENSOR: An RF battery-powered Window/Door Sensor that allows automatic temperature setback when a window or door is left open. Setback options range from 44°F to 65°F.
- KRF-MASTER-SWITCH: An RF battery-powered Master Setback Switch providing a manual control to setback all paired systems upon exiting a building. Setback options range from 44°F to 65°F.
- KRF-REPEATER: A 5V USB-C Powered RF Signal Amplifier designed to extend the range of the wireless transmission.
