Remarks
1. Test Equipment Calibration: All test equipment used during the specified testing period was calibrated according to the laboratory's calibration program and meets relevant standards. Traceability is ensured by the management system.
2. Digital Signature: This document is digitally signed. Verification of legal requirements is the user's responsibility. Information on verifying document authenticity is available at go.tuv.com/digital-signature.
3. Subcontracted Clauses: Test clauses marked with * were subcontracted. Deviations from specifications are listed in the report.
4. Conformity Decision Rule: Compliance is determined by comparing measurement results directly with limits, without considering measurement uncertainty, based on the 'Zero Guard Band Rule' and 'Simple Acceptance' (ILAC G8:2019, IEC Guide 115:2021).
General Product Information
Product Function and Intended Use: The Equipment Under Test (EUT) is a self-ballasted LED lamp with wireless dimming functionality for lighting and similar applications.
Ratings and System Details:
- Rated Input: AC 120 V, 60 Hz, 79 mA
- Rated Power: 8.1 W
- RF IC: SiMG301
Independent Operation Modes: Basic modes are 'ON' and 'OFF' with dimming. Test modes included four variations of warm and white lighting with maximum and minimum output.
Highest Frequency: The highest frequency used in the EUT is 2480 MHz (for the wireless module).
Test Set-up and Operation Modes
Configuration Selection: The EUT was configured to measure its highest possible emission level. Tests were conducted on 2025-04-11 (Conducted Emission) and 2025-04-10 to 2025-04-14 (Radiated Emission).
Equipment and Cable Arrangement:
- Conducted Emission: A block diagram shows the setup including the EUT, LISN, EMI receiver, computer, transformer, and power supply.
- Radiated Emission (30 MHz - 1000 MHz): A diagram illustrates the setup with the EUT on a turntable, an antenna, and measurement equipment.
- Radiated Emission (1 GHz - 18 GHz): A diagram shows the setup with the EUT, turntable, absorbers, and antenna.
Test Software: The 'Home' APP for iPhone was used.
Auxiliary Equipment: iPhone 15 (Apple), HomePod mini (Apple), E2489 Remote Control (IKEA).
EMC Compliance Measures: No special countermeasures were employed.
Conformity Decision Rule
For all EMI tests, compliance is determined by comparing measurement results directly with limits, as measurement uncertainties are less than specified values (UCISPR in CISPR 16-4-2).
Test Results - Emission
Conducted Emission (0.15 MHz - 30 MHz): The EUT was tested for conducted emissions according to FCC 47 CFR Part 15, Subpart B:2023, ICES-005:2018, ANSI C63.4-2014, and CISPR 16-2-1. Tests were performed in a shielded room with AC 120 V, 60 Hz input. The EUT passed all conducted emission tests across the specified operational modes. The minimum margin observed was 4.88 dB.
Radiated Emission (30 MHz - 1000 MHz): Radiated emissions were measured in a semi-anechoic chamber at a distance of 3 meters, according to FCC 47 CFR Part 15, Subpart B:2023, ICES-005:2018, ANSI C63.4-2014, and CISPR 16-2-3. The EUT was tested in Class B mode. The EUT passed all radiated emission tests. The minimum margin observed was 18.5 dB.
Radiated Emission (1 GHz - 18 GHz): Radiated emissions were measured in an absorber-lined semi-anechoic chamber at a distance of 3 meters, according to FCC 47 CFR Part 15, Subpart B:2023, ICES-005:2018, ANSI C63.4-2014, and CISPR 16-2-3. The EUT was tested in Class B mode. The EUT passed all radiated emission tests. The minimum margin observed was 16.7 dB.
