Artistic Digitizer V1.0-1.7 to V2.0 Update Guide

This guide provides instructions for updating Artistic Digitizer software from versions V1.0-1.7 to V2.0.

Update Procedure from V1.0-1.7 to V2.0

For customers using previous versions V1.0-1.7, it is necessary to first update to the latest version, V1.7 build 8946. Customers who wish to continue using V1.0-1.7 do not need to update to V2.0.

Message Displayed When Launching V1.7 Build 8946 Software

If you encounter the following message when launching the V1.7 build 8946 software:

For Windows:

A prompt may appear stating: "Your key is eligible for a free update to version 2.0 of Artistic Digitizer." To hide this message, check the box labeled "Do not show this message again" and click OK.

For Mac:

A similar prompt may appear for Mac users: "Your key is eligible for a free update to version 2.0 of Artistic Digitizer." To hide this message, check the box labeled "Do not show this message again" and click OK.

Clicking the "Click here" link within the message will direct you to the free update page on the company's global website. From there, click the button labeled "Click here for Artistic Digitizer V1.7 users."

Downloading and Installing V2.0 Software

After clicking the link, you will be directed to the Artistic Digitizer download page. Please download the V2.0 software from the "Download" page and proceed with the installation.

If the message continues to appear after updating to V2.0, you can hide it by checking the "Do not show this message again" box and clicking OK.

Cases Requiring an Upgrade Kit

Scenario 1: No message displayed when launching V1.7 build 8946, but V2.0 usage is desired.

In this case, you will need to purchase an upgrade kit.

Scenario 2: Message displayed after downloading and installing V2.0 software and launching it.

A message may appear stating "Upgrade Key." You will need to enter one or more 16-digit upgrade codes and click "Upgrade." If you encounter this, you will need to purchase an upgrade kit.
