Instruction Guide
Basic Operation
To power on the unit, plug the power supply into the mains and connect the DC IN (Ref.13) port on the back of the radio. Use the Power switch (Ref.12) on the rear to turn the power supply on or off. Fully extend the antenna (Ref.15) for optimal FM reception. Press the 'Standby/Mode' button (Ref.1) to turn the unit on. It will typically start in DAB Radio mode and scan for stations. Press 'Standby/Mode' (Ref.1) again to switch to FM, or press it again to return to DAB.
Standby Mode
To put the radio into standby, press and hold the 'Standby/Mode' button (Ref.1). To turn the unit off completely, use the power switch (Ref.12) on the rear and disconnect the mains plug. Ensure the power cord is kept out of reach of children.
DAB / DAB+ Radio
Press the 'Standby/Mode' button (Ref.1) to select DAB Radio. On first use, it will scan and save all available stations. Ensure the antenna (Ref.15) is fully extended. If an automatic scan does not occur or no signal is detected, press and release the 'Scan' button (Ref.3) to initiate a manual scan. This process scans the frequency band and saves stations with a good signal. If you are in an area with weak DAB signal, reception may be poor. The radio automatically saves strong signal stations and plays the first one found. Use the 'Next' (Ref.9) and 'Prev' (Ref.7) buttons to scroll through stored stations. Press the 'Info/Menu' button (Ref.6) repeatedly to view different programme information (see page 10 for details). The radio will resume playback on the last selected station (DAB or FM) when powered on.

- Press and hold the 'Preset/Dimmer' button (Ref.4). The display will show "Preset Empty 1" with the number flashing.
- Use the 'Prev' (Ref.7) or 'Next' (Ref.9) buttons to select the desired preset number (1-10).
- Press the 'Enter/Snooze' button (Ref.5) to save the station. The display will confirm "Preset (1) stored".
To play a preset station:
- Press the 'Preset' button (Ref.4).
- Use the 'Prev' (Ref.7) or 'Next' (Ref.9) buttons to scroll through your stored preset stations.
