Product Overview

The Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 is a versatile keyboard with an integrated touchpad, designed for comfortable control of your computer connected to a TV. It features a compact design and a Logitech Unifying receiver for wireless connectivity.

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Connect the Unifying Receiver

  1. Locate the Logitech Unifying receiver. It is a small USB dongle.
  2. Insert the Unifying receiver into an available USB port on your computer.

Step 2: Install Batteries and Power On

  1. Open the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard.
  2. Insert the two AA batteries (included) into the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment.
  4. Locate the power switch on the top right edge of the keyboard.
  5. Slide the power switch to the 'ON' position (green indicator visible).

The K400 keyboard includes several hotkeys and essential components:

Touchpad Gestures

Point and Scroll

  1. Point: Slide one finger anywhere on the touchpad to move the screen pointer.
  2. Scroll: Scroll with two fingers, either up or down.

Left and Right Click

  1. Left Click: Press the dedicated left mouse button or tap the touchpad surface.
  2. Right Click: Press the dedicated right mouse button.

Note: To disable touchpad tap, press the Fn key plus the left mouse button. To re-enable touchpad tap, press the Fn key plus the left mouse button again.

Logitech Unifying Technology

What is Logitech Unifying?

Logitech Unifying is a technology that allows you to connect up to six compatible Logitech wireless devices (such as keyboards and mice) to a single Unifying receiver. This frees up USB ports and simplifies your setup.

How to Connect a New Unifying Device

  1. Ensure your new Logitech device is Unifying compatible (look for the orange Unifying logo).
  2. Download and install the Logitech Unifying software from www.logitech.com/support/unifying.
  3. Launch the Unifying software and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your new device.

Is Your Device Unifying Compatible?

Look for the orange Unifying logo (a starburst symbol) on your device or its packaging. If you see this logo, your device is compatible.
