Use

Correct Positioning

To optimize performance, ensure air inlets maintain a distance of over 20cm from walls and other obstructions.

Manual Control Wind Speed

The machine offers 121 wind speed settings. Accurate speed control reflects PM2.5 levels precisely.

How to Pair Smart Controller with the Main Unit

Pairing

The smart controller connects to the main unit via Bluetooth. The machine is pre-paired at the factory, but if re-pairing is needed:

  1. Plug in the main unit. Press and hold the on/off key on the smart controller to switch it on. The main unit's light turns green when powered on.
  2. Slide the smart controller's touch surface counter-clockwise until the green light blinks slowly. Press and hold the 'o' position on the touch surface for over five seconds until the green light flashes rapidly. The main unit will pair within 30 seconds. Note: The main unit must be in standby mode (green light blinking slowly) for pairing.
  3. On the smart controller screen, click 'Settings' then 'Pair' to initiate the self-pairing process between the smart controller and the main unit.
  4. Pairing Completed: After successful pairing, the main unit's power/status indicator turns white, and the monitor prompts "Pairing Completed". If pairing fails, repeat the steps.

Note: Product updates may cause minor UI differences.

Smart Controller Tests

The smart controller monitors CO₂, formaldehyde (HCHO), PM2.5, temperature, and humidity. It displays air quality in six levels: good, moderate, unhealthy for sensitive groups, unhealthy, very unhealthy, and hazardous.

Note: When paired, the smart controller's white LED light is lit. It continues monitoring even when the screen displays the clock or is blank.

The Use of Smart Controller

The smart controller is central to the intelligent system. Ensure it remains paired with the main unit.

1. Control Panel

Click to enter mode selection:

Use the provided icons [Back Icon] and [Home Icon] to navigate.

Note: Touching the main unit surface manually adjusts wind speed for 5 minutes before reverting to auto mode. For full manual control, use the smart controller's manual mode. If the smart controller disconnects, the main unit maintains its last manual setting (green light). Manual mode is not recommended due to energy and filter waste.

2. Settings

Click on the monitor to access settings:

3. Filter Checking

Click 'Filter' to enter the filter monitoring interface. Clean or replace filters when the percentage approaches 5%. After cleaning or replacing, click 'Reset' and confirm to restart the monitoring system.

Note: The controller syncs to local time zone via Wi-Fi. Manual time setting is available if Wi-Fi sync is not applicable.

4. Clock Display / Adjustment

When plugged in, the smart controller displays the time like a screensaver. Pressing the on/off button also displays the time. The backlight/night light function operates from 22:00-06:00, showing the clock for three minutes.

In the clock display, click the right side of the screen to manually set the time.

Warnings

Main Unit Warnings

Formaldehyde Reading Error

The formaldehyde sensor is sensitive to various gases. Abnormal readings may occur. If readings are consistently high after calibration in an outdoor environment, the issue might be non-formaldehyde gases or smells. Opening windows for 15 minutes is suggested. Re-calibrate if the problem persists.

Ventilation Warning

The smart controller may detect abnormalities when windows/doors are opened or when you leave home. The main unit stops working to save energy and filter life. Once ventilation stops or you return, the purifier will resume operation automatically. Manual override can also restart the unit.

Note: Ventilation status is detected only when the smart controller is in 'AUTO' mode.

Smart Controller and Wi-Fi Internet Networks

Follow these steps to connect your smart controller to Wi-Fi:

  1. Download and install the LIFAair APP.
  2. Scan QR code: Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code on the smart controller or the one provided in the manual.
  3. Add Device: Open the LIFAair APP, click '+' to add a device.
  4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure your phone is connected to Wi-Fi. Enter the Wi-Fi password. The air purifier will connect to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone.
  5. Connect Network: On the smart controller, click 'CONNECT network'. On the phone APP, click 'CONNECT network' when prompted.
  6. Link Monitors: After successful internet connection, click the link to the monitors. Input the smart controller password (last six digits of the MAC code, found on the rear of the smart controller; not case-sensitive).

Upon successful connection, the phone can control the main unit and display current data from the smart controller.

Maintenance

Filter Replacement

Ensure the main unit is off and unplugged before replacing filters.

Refer to the "First Installation" section for filter removal. Take out the carbon barrels and HEPA filters, replace them, and then put them back into the main unit.

Clean the Prefilter

Remove the two carbon barrels. Clean the prefilter (outer surface of the carbon barrel) outdoors using a dry cleaner with a brush. Avoid using a wet towel, as it can clog the prefilter.

Filter Reset

After cleaning or replacing filters, press the 'Reset' button on the smart controller to confirm and restart the filter monitoring system.

Specifications
