Product Overview

The OPTONE-H Classic smoke vent damper is designed for smoke extraction in residential buildings classified as 3rd B or 4th family. It is ideal for installation on standard 400x500 mm smoke extraction ducts (20dm²). The damper features a 24 V current-emission trigger and is compliant with European standards.

Product Description

The OPTONE-H damper is closed in standby mode and opens upon command from the ORDONE control and signaling panel, moving to a safety position. It is designed to extract smoke and hot gases when open and to prevent fire propagation from the smoke extraction duct to other floors when closed.

Installation

Mounting direction: 'leaf into the duct'.
Surface mounting on a 1-hour fire-rated smoke extraction duct.
Recommended to fix the OPTONE-H to its counter-frame.
Install the OPTONE-H damper with the clips at the top to position the blade core: downwards for a VB damper, upwards for a VH damper.
For installation with a counter-frame sealed into a concrete duct, add at least 10 mm for sealing.
For other dimensions, use the OPTONE range.
