Device Startup

Press the MENU button to launch the device menu. If a device administrator has been set, additional authorization will be required. After entering the menu, the following window will appear:

Device Menu Screen: Displays icons for Report, User, Attendance, Shift Settings, Setting, Log Management, and System Info. Navigation is indicated by OK: Select, ESC: Back.

Report Generation ("Report")

To download a report, navigate to the 'Attendance' section in the device MENU. From here, you can select the following options:

  • All Reports Download - downloads all types of reports
  • Attendance Report Download - downloads an attendance report for a specified date range. It is divided into the following parts:

Shift Table

Employee Shift Table: Shows UserID, Name, Dept. and daily entries (1-28) indicating shift types. For example, UserID 1, Dept. DEPT1, with entries like '1' for normal workdays.

Attendance Statistics

Attendance Statistic Table: Shows UserID, Name, Dept., Worktime (hrs), Late (min), Early (min), Overtime (hrs), Normal, Actual times, Holiday, Trip, Absence, Leave, Work Rate, APP Pay, Leave Pay. Example: UserID 1, Dept. DEPT1, Worktime 160.0 hrs, Late 9 min, Early 2 min, Overtime 124 min, Holiday 0.0, Absence 20/2, Leave 0, Work Rate 18.

Employee Attendance Log Table

Employee Attendance Table: Shows UserID, Name, Dept. and daily entries (1-28) with 'In' and 'Out' times for each day, including overtime.

  • Abnormal Report Download – downloads a report on irregularities (absences, lateness).

Abnormal Attendance Report: Table showing UserID, Name, Dept., Date, Before Noon In/Out, After Noon In/Out, Late (min), Early (min), Total (min), Remark. Shows 'Absence' for most entries, and one entry with times and calculated lateness/absence.

  • Attendance Record Download - downloads a report containing a summary of employee clock-in/out logs.

Employee Attendance Record Table: Shows UserID, Name, Dept. and daily entries (1-28) with clock-in/out times.

User Management ("User")

  • Synchronize User Info – allows synchronization of user data between the device and a file on a USB drive. If there is no data file on the USB drive, the file will be automatically downloaded from the recorder.
  • Enroll - allows adding employee number, name, department name, and also grants administrator privileges. If any user receives administrator privileges, each entry into the device MENU will require logging in by an administrator (login password, RFID card, or fingerprint will be required).
  • Delete - allows deletion of user data from the device. To do this, enter the user number and then confirm deletion.
  • Departments - allows adding/editing department data.
  • Enroll View - allows viewing the list of users.

Attendance Settings ("Attendance Settings")

Attendance Setting Table: Includes columns for Shift No., Time Zone 1 (In/Out), Time Zone 2 (In/Out), Overtime (In/Out), Auto-Status Alteration (Time, Mode, Length, No.), Bell Time (Time, Mode, No.), and Weekday (Su, Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr, Sa). Shows example settings for shifts 1-6.

  • Attend Setting Upload - allows uploading attendance data in spreadsheet format, such as shift settings, shift names, and alarm settings.
  • Attend Setting Download - allows downloading attendance data in spreadsheet format, such as shift settings, shift names, and alarm settings.
  • Shift Time Zone – allows changing work hours, supports 24-hour format. Supports three types of hours (e.g., morning shift, night shift, and overtime).
  • TR Schedule – allows specifying the type of clock-ins/outs at given hours. After specifying the clock-in/out type, the device will automatically change the login type to previously defined ones (e.g., shift 1, shift 2, or overtime).
  • Bell Time – allows defining the hours at which an audible alarm signal will be activated.
  • Ring Cycle – allows defining the alarm duration.
  • Ring Mode – allows defining the alarm type.
  • Reverify Time – allows defining the time interval between user clock-ins.
  • Worked-more as overtime – allows defining whether clock-ins (upon leaving work) after regular work hours should be counted as overtime.

Shift Settings ("Shift Settings")

Employee Shift Table: Shows UserID, Name, Dept. and daily entries (1-28) for shift assignments.

  • Shift Arrangement – allows changing schedule settings.
  • Shift Setting Table Upload – allows uploading an editable shift configuration file.
  • Shift Setting Table Download – allows downloading an editable shift configuration file.
  • User Shift – allows editing shift schedules directly on the device.

Device Settings ("Setting")

  • Device ID – device identifier in the range of 1 to 255.
  • Reverify Time – time between consecutive user clock-ins.
  • Lock Setting – device lock delay.
  • Power Management – power settings.
  • Sensor Adjust – allows calibration of the fingerprint reader.
  • Restore Factory Settings – restores the device to its initial settings. WARNING: This option deletes ALL data from the device.
  • F/W Upgrade - allows updating the device's firmware.

Log Management ("Log Management")

  • Attendance Log View – list of attendance entries (logs) on the device.
  • Management Log Warning – allows setting when the device should notify about the device's memory filling up. Set to '0' to disable the warning. The set number determines the remaining log capacity available on the device.
  • Clear All Log – clears all entries.
  • Management Log Download - downloads entries to a connected USB drive.
  • Attend Log(Text) Download - downloads attendance entries in text format to a connected USB drive.

System Information ("System Info")

  • Enroll View – check user registration information.
  • Product Info – check device information.
  • Self Test - device self-diagnosis.
