Thank you for purchasing the Ready2Talk HS BT4 Digital Wireless Headset.
The HS BT4 is designed to be a comfortable yet durable Wireless Headset Microphone offering up to 12 hrs. talk time with over 30 ft.+ (10M+) operating range.
Please Note: The HS BT4 is not designed to directly work with other manufacturers PA's systems, but can, with the addition of our MB 1 Microphone adaptor box.
Connection and Operation: 1. Connect the 4 pin microphone plug from the receiver box into
your Ready2Talk PA system and the blue power LED will go on.
2. Turn on the headset power switch and the green LED on the headset will flash. In approximately 2 seconds, the green LED will stop flashing and receiver's button will go red indicating the microphone is ready to use.
3. If the headset is not paired to that receiver box, the green LED on the headset will continue to flash indicating an issue. (see pairing instructions on pg.2)
4. Put on the headset with the headband behind your head with the bends resting over your ears. If the headband is too big or small, feel free to shape the headband to fit.
5. Place the microphone 1/2" to 1" away from your mouth, start talking and adjust your microphone volume as required.
Charging: Using the included charge cable, the headset can be charged from any normal USB phone car or wall charger or from the USB charging port on the receiver box.
When first connected, the red charge indicator LED on the headset will glow, when it goes out the headset is fully charged. Headset charging time will vary from minutes to approximately 3 hrs. depending on the remaining charge when plugged in.
If necessary, you can charge and use the headset at the same time. Because of the 4 to 1 charging rate, if you charge the battery for 1 hr. this equals approximately 4 hrs. of use.
NOTE: DO NOT use the receiver box's USB socket to charge anything other than the HS BT4 Headset (e.g. a phone) as damage will occur to the receiver box or PA!

The telltale signs that your battery is getting low:
1. Your voice will be slightly distorted or will start to cut out
2. Background crackling noise
3. Reduced operating range
4. It you experience any of these symptoms, please charge your headset
Pairing a Headset to a different Receiver:
Your HS BT4 headset and receiver box will come pre-paired. If you want to use a different headset with another receiver box, follow these simple steps below.
1. Turn on the headset and the green LED will flash.
2. Locate the little black button on the inside of the headset. (see Image 1)
3. Make sure the receiver is connected to the PA and the blue power LED is on.
4. Push and hold the little button on the headset AND the pairing button on the receiver box (see Image 2) until headset's green LED stops flashing, then immediately release both buttons. When the green LED stops flashing and button on the receiver goes red, the headset is now paired to this receiver box.
