Product Overview
Briggs & Stratton offers a comprehensive range of short blocks designed for engine repair and maintenance. These assemblies are available in various cubic inch displacements, from 8 to 54 cubic inches, catering to a wide array of engine models.
To utilize a short block assembly, essential components such as ignition, carburetion, and starter parts are transferred from the original engine. If additional new parts are required, they can be sourced from stock at standard parts prices.
Each short block includes detailed assembly instructions and an illustrated parts list. A self-adhesive label is also provided for application near the original nameplate, featuring a symbol that should be added to the engine's type number for accurate identification during future part orders.
