Safety Information
This meter complies with IEC61010-1 standards, featuring pollution degree 2, overvoltage category CAT II 1000V, and double insulation. Failure to follow operating instructions may reduce protection.
- Before use, inspect the meter and test leads. Do not use if damaged, if the case is removed, or if the LCD shows no reaction.
- Use only identical replacement parts for damaged test leads.
- Avoid touching test cables, connectors, or unused terminals during testing to prevent electric shock.
- Exercise extreme caution when working with voltages exceeding 60V DC or 30Vrms AC, as there is a risk of electric shock.
- Ensure the correct terminal input is selected and the rotary switch is set to the desired measuring function. If unsure of the measurement value, start with the highest range.
- Do not overload voltage or current beyond the meter's specified limitations.
- Avoid changing the range setting while a measurement is in progress to prevent meter damage.
- Do not use or store the meter in environments with high temperature, humidity, flammable materials, or strong electromagnetic fields, as performance may degrade.
- Do not alter the meter's internal circuits to avoid damage or accidents.
- Replace the battery immediately when the low battery indicator `?` appears. A low battery can lead to false readings, potentially causing electric shock or personal injury.
- Turn the meter off when not in use. Remove the battery if the meter will not be used for an extended period.

Operational Measurement Guide
Refer to Diagram 1, 2, and 3 for detailed operational measurement guides.
Diagram 1 Description
Diagram 1 illustrates the connection setup for measuring Resistance (Ω), Diode/Continuity (⚡️/?), Frequency (kHz), Capacitance (F), Temperature (°C), and Transistor hFE (β). It shows the multimeter's terminals (VΩHz, COM, mAµA, 10A) and the appropriate sockets or inputs required for each measurement type.
Diagram 2 Description
Diagram 2 depicts the correct connections for performing DC/AC Voltage and DC/AC Current measurements. It highlights the use of the VΩHz and COM terminals for voltage measurements and the mAµA or 10A terminals for current measurements, emphasizing that current measurements require the meter to be connected in series with the circuit.
Diagram 3 Description
Diagram 3 provides a closer view of the test lead connections for AC voltage and current measurements, reinforcing the correct terminal usage.
Accuracy Specifications
Accuracy is specified as ±(% reading + digits) and is guaranteed for one year under operating conditions of 18°C to 28°C and relative humidity below 75%. Detailed accuracy specifications are provided for various measurements, including:
- DC Voltage: Ranges from 2V to 1000V.
- AC Voltage: Ranges from 2V to 1000V, with an input impedance of approximately 10MΩ for UT801 and 2MΩ for UT802 (ACV input). The frequency range for AC measurements is 45Hz to 400Hz.
- DC Current: Ranges from 2mA to 10A. Note: For currents of 5A or higher, continuous measurement is limited to 10 seconds with intervals of at least 15 minutes.
- AC Current: Ranges from 2mA to 10A, with a frequency range of 45Hz to 400Hz. Similar to DC current, measurements at 5A or higher are limited to 10-second bursts with 15-minute intervals.
- Resistance: Ranges from 200Ω to 20MΩ. Measurements above 100MΩ are for reference. For low resistance measurements, lead resistance compensation may be necessary for accuracy.
- Capacitance: Ranges from 20nF to 200µF. Values above 40µF are for reference.
- Frequency: Ranges from 2kHz to 200kHz, with specified input amplitude requirements for each range.
- Temperature: Measures from -40°C to 1000°C using a K-type thermocouple.
- Diode Test: Features an open circuit voltage of approximately 3V, with a normal silicon junction drop between 0.5V and 0.8V.
- Continuity Test: Has an open circuit voltage of approximately 3V. The buzzer activates continuously if the resistance is 100Ω or less.
