Know Your Device
The MS1 unit features several ports and indicators:
Ports:
- LAN port: For connecting devices to the network.
- WAN port: For connecting to your modem or internet source.
- DC power jack: For connecting the power adapter.
- WPS/RESET button: Used for Wi-Fi Protected Setup or resetting the device.

Install the TCL WiFi App
To set up and manage your MS1G system, download the TCL WiFi App on your mobile device. You can find it by searching for "TCL WiFi" in the App Store or Google Play, or by scanning the provided QR code.
The app is available for both iOS and Android devices.

Connect the Primary Node
The first MS1 unit you set up will function as the primary node. Subsequent units will be secondary nodes.
- Connect an Ethernet cable from your modem or router's Ethernet jack to the WAN/LAN port of your chosen primary node.
- Connect a power adapter to the DC power jack of the primary node and plug it into a power source. The LED indicator will light up solid. Wait approximately 40 seconds for the system to complete startup.
The system is ready when the LED indicator blinks green. Place the MS1 unit on a stable surface.

Connect the Primary Node to the Internet
- On your mobile device, go to the Wi-Fi network list. Select the SSID of the primary node and enter its password. The SSID and password are typically found on a label on the bottom of the MS1 unit.
- Launch the TCL WiFi App and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the primary node to the internet.
Once successfully connected to the internet, the primary node's LED indicator will turn solid green.
