Description
The VTX A8 Base Plate is a universal adapter frame designed for ground stacking VTX A8 loudspeaker arrays. It can be used on compatible subwoofers, such as the JBL VTX B28 or VTX B18, or other support structures like stages, scaffolding, or carts. The base plate connects to subwoofers via their standard M20 pole mount adapter using the included M20 screw. It attaches directly to the bottom of an A8 array. A rear angle selection bar allows for adjustable array angles ranging from -15 to +5 degrees. When not used with subwoofers, the base plate features M10 through holes at its four corners for permanent attachment to alternative support structures. For ease of use with ratchet straps, it includes one 50 mm (2 in) through hole on each side. Detailed configurations and load conditions can be determined using JBL's LAC-3 prediction software.
