1. Getting Your WiiM Amp Ready for Action
Begin by connecting your WiiM Amp to your passive speakers using the speaker terminals. Next, plug the device into a wall socket using the included AC power cord.
Device Controls and Indicators:
- Status LED: Indicates device status.
- Volume LED: Indicates volume level.
- Volume +/-: Turn to adjust the volume level.
- Play/Pause: A quick tap toggles between playing and pausing your music.
- Setup/Reset: Press and hold for at least 3 seconds to enter setup mode. Keep pressing for 10 seconds or more to restore to factory settings.
2. Download and Connect the WiiM Home App
Open the WiiM Home app when you're ready to get started. You'll use it to set up and control your WiiM Amp.
Connecting to WiiM Home App:
- Turn on Bluetooth in your mobile device's settings.
- Back in the WiiM Home app, choose the device you found and tap Setup.
- Allow location permission to discover the nearby network to set up the Wi-Fi network for the WiiM Amp.
Note: If you use an Ethernet connection, connect WiiM Amp then go back to the WiiM Home App to finish the device setup.
3. Fill Your Home with Music
Stream your go-to tunes or radio stations to any type of speaker – be it floor-standing, architectural, or bookshelf. With multiple WiiM Amp units, you can fill your entire home with streaming music. Want more? Connect a stereo component like a turntable, computer, or TV, and broadcast your audio to multiple devices simultaneously.
