Thank you for choosing KUMI smartwatch. This manual will give you a complete understanding of how to use the equipment. This device is mainly connected to the mobile phone through Bluetooth function, providing a variety of practical functions and services to facilitate your operation of the mobile phone, and has developed many functions for human sports and health.
This equipment is not a medical device, and the measurement data and results are only for reference, not for diagnosis and treatment.
Due to the continuous improvement, optimization and upgrade of the product, the user may expect slight difference between the actual product and the description in this manual.

1. FUNCTION DESCRIPTION OF WATCH KEYS
The watch features two buttons:
- 1. Upper button: Press and hold for 5 seconds to start.
- 2. Lower button: Used for navigation and settings.
Upper button functions:
- Short press: Enter the function menu/return to the dial interface.
- Double-click: In the function menu interface, double-click to quickly switch the menu style.
- Long press:
- Long press to power on the watch when turned off.
- Long press to turn on when the machine is turned on: Shutdown/Restart.
Lower button functions:
Slide down on the dial interface to open the 'Settings' interface in the control center. In the 'Down key settings,' you can customize the click and long press functions of this button respectively.
2. CHARGE AND ACTIVATE THE WATCH
Align the magnetic charging cable with the metal contact of the charging port until the charging confirmation appears on the watchscreen. When the watch indicates that the battery is low, please charge it in time.
The charging power input of the watch is 5V ⎓ 1A, so do not use a power adapter supporting higher than 5V for charging.
The device is an all-in-one machine; the back shell and battery are not removable.

3. APP DOWNLOAD
Enter the mobile APP store and search for "KUMIWear" or scan the QR code below to download and install the application.

4. WATCH CONNECTION BINDING APP
1. APP binding:
Before binding the watch, ensure it is not bound to other mobile phones. If it is, please unbind the watch first.
- Method 1: Open APP > Device > Add Device > Start Search > Select "KUMI GW5".
- Method 2: A QR code will be shown on the screen during initial settings of the watch. Click the scan-code icon at the upper right corner of the search-device page on the APP to start scanning. The QR code can also be found by sliding down the dial interface, opening the 'Settings' interface in the control center, and entering the QR code page.
2. Call audio & Media audio:
Slide down on the dial interface, click the icon in the control center to open the 'Call Audio and Media Audio' interface.
- Call audio: Used to answer and make calls (enabled by default after the watch is bound to the APP).
- Media Audio: Used to play music and video sounds on the phone.
5. TOUCH CONTROLS
The watch uses touch gestures for navigation:
- Swipe down: Opens the Control Center.
- Swipe right: Accesses Shortcut keys.
- Swipe left: Displays Movement data (steps, distance, calories).
- Swipe up: Shows Message notifications.
- Long press the screen: Enters the dial selection interface. Swipe left or right to switch dials, and click to confirm the selection.

6. FUNCTION INTRODUCTION
Dial switch
Long press for 2 seconds on the home screen to enter the dial switch interface. Slide right and left to switch the dial for selection and click to select the dial.
Control center
Provides access to function overview: brightness adjustment, settings, find phone, system information, flashlight, audio mode, do not disturb, and power saving mode.
Movement data
Displays the number of steps, distance, and calories burned during the day. You can set a goal for these items on the App.
Sports
Options for sport patterns include walking, running, cycling, mountain climbing, rope skipping, football, badminton, and basketball, etc. Click on the icon to start the mode. More sports modes can be added through the APP.
Exercise record
The interface saves the recent 10 pieces of historical sport records. You can view the sport duration, heart rate, and calories during the sport.
Heart rate
Enter the interface for heart rate measurement. When the green light at the bottom is on, it will start measurement. The measurement will be completed within 40s and has a vibration reminder. If the prompt "Wear Watch Properly Please" appears, please take off the watch and wear it properly.
Call function
To use this function, connect the watch to the App via Bluetooth first. Then, you can enter the phone number and make the call. Long press 7 and 9 on the keyboard for 2s to enter '*' and '#' respectively.
Frequent contacts
You need to add contacts to the frequently used contacts column on the app side. The frequently set contacts will be automatically synced to the device, and up to 10 contacts can be added.
Call records
This function can save the last 10 call records.
Sleep
The interface displays the monitoring result of your sleep on the same day. The data is updated every day. Connect it to the APP to upload and save the data synchronously. The device will recalculate the data information for the new day.
Blood pressure
Enter the interface for blood pressure measurement. When the green light at the bottom is on, it will start measurement. The measurement will be completed within 30-60s and has a vibration reminder. *The measurement is based on PPG technology.
Blood oxygen
Enter the interface for blood oxygen measurement. When the green light at the bottom is on, it will start measurement. The measurement will be completed within 30-60s and has a vibration reminder. *The measurement is based on PPG technology.
Female health
Keep the watch connected to the APP; you can open the female health reminder on the App. You can view the female health reminder information on the watch. Relevant functions show only if the user's information gender is "female".
Music
Keep the watch connected to the APP. You can control the pause and start of the mobile phone music player, volume adjustment, and song switching.
Weather
After connecting your watch with the APP and opening the location permission, the weather interface will display the real-time temperature and weather type.
Alarm clock
Keep the watch connected to the APP; you can set a single alarm clock or a cyclic alarm clock. You can set up to 5 alarm clocks.
Stop watch
Click the Start button to start the count. Click the Pause button to pause the timer. Click the Reset button to reset the timer to zero. It can save up to 99 pieces of data.
Timer
For the timer function, the user may start quick timing through the system preset time or click the user-defined button to set the time. Click the Start button for timing, the Pause button to pause, and the Reset button to time to zero.
Messages
After the Information Push is enabled on the App, the watch will receive and display the messages received on the phone. It can save up to the latest 15 messages.
Find my phone
Keep the watch connected to the APP and click "Find my phone". The watch will show that you have successfully found your mobile phone by ringing it. If the watch is not connected to the APP, the watch will indicate that it is not connected.
Settings
Settings include Display (dial switching, brightness setting, duration of screen brightening, duration of screen brightening through palming), language, Vibration (strength setting), Style switch for the menu, Battery, QR code, and System.
Breath training
There are two options for Breath training: 1 min and 2 min. After selecting 1Min or 2Min and clicking the Start button, follow the icon movement to inhale, hold, and exhale to do the training.
Drinking reminder
This function can be configured on the App (Device -> drinking reminder). After it is enabled, the start time, end time, and reminder interval can be set.
Sedentary reminder
This function can be configured in the App (device -> sedentary reminder). You can modify the start time, end time, and period for Do not Disturb.
Voice assistant
After connecting with voice Bluetooth successfully, click the voice assistant in the watch menu, input voice commands according to prompts. You can control your phone through the voice assistant.
Collection code
Save the collection codes of third-party payment tools such as QQ, WeChat, Alipay, and Paypal to the watch through the mobile APP, and click the corresponding icon to display the collection code for collection.
Business card
Save the QR code of QQ, WeChat, Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Skype, Line, and Instagram to your watch via mobile APP, and click the corresponding icon to display the QR code to add friends.
7. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The watch does not turn on
- Check if the power is sufficient; use the charging cable to charge the watch, and the charging voltage shall not be higher than 5V.
- Check if the watch screen is damaged by external forces, such as accidental drop.
- Check if the watch has water; dampness caused by internal circuit short circuit can prevent it from turning on.
Bluetooth not connected or unable to connect
- Slide down the dial interface to enter the control center and check if the Bluetooth icon ? is red and not connected.
- Check if the Bluetooth of the mobile phone is enabled normally and if the APP has obtained the location permission.
- Try restarting the device or performing a factory reset.
Why Android phones are easy to disconnect
The App should be running in the background continuously; however, Android's memory management will force the App to close. To fix this, it is needed to manually disable the phone's power saving mode or add the App to the system management green background. For specific steps to configure this, please refer to the manual of your phone or contact KUMI customer service.

8. SAFETY WARNING
Please read all safety information before using this product to ensure safe and proper use.
- In case of equipment failure or factory reset, if you do not keep the backup file safely, you will not be able to recover the previous data. Be sure to back up all important data stored on the equipment and keep it in a safe place.
- When using a power-intensive application or using an application on the device for a long time, the device may feel hot to the touch, which is normal and does not affect the use or performance of the device.
- If the touch screen is equipped with a protective film, or the hands are not clean, the touch screen may react slowly and not work properly. If the touch screen is scratched or damaged, there may be a risk of water ingress and moisture.
- This product is not suitable for children under the age of 14 to use alone.
- All packaging materials (such as tape, plastic bags, plastic sheets, labels, binding lines, etc.) and small parts of the machine should not be touched by children under 3 years old to avoid suffocation risk.
Observe the following warnings to prevent personal injury or damage to equipment:
- Do not allow children or animals to chew or swallow the equipment and accessories.
- Do not poke eyes, ears, or other body parts with the device or put the device in your mouth.
- Do not store the equipment in an overheated or overcooled environment. It is recommended to use it in an environment with a temperature between -5°C and 40°C.
- Do not store equipment near or inside heaters, microwave ovens, cooking equipment, or pressure vessels.
- Do not drop, squeeze, impact, or scratch the equipment.
- Do not use the equipment in thunderstorm weather.
- Please keep the equipment dry and clean.
- Please observe all safety warnings and regulations regarding the use of mobile devices while driving.
- Do not wear or use this product while charging.
