High Ambient Temperature Installations
A High Ambient Temperature Kit (Part SP21171) is available for installations requiring operation between 100° F and 175° F. The first 10 equivalent feet of vent pipe and/or fittings must be CPVC (Schedule 40, ASTM F441) or ABS (Schedule 40, ASTM D2661). Required fitting material is CPVC (Schedule 40, ASTM F438) or ABS (Schedule 40 DWV, ASTM D2661).
Refer to the Use and Care Manual for additional information and instructions.
